Why is it better to use slopes from sandwich panels?
Replacing the window almost always involves some work with the apertures. No matter how carefully the dismantling was done, you still have to tidy up the slopes. Especially it concerns apartments from the old fund, where in the apertures there are two frames. Often the distance between them is 30-40 cm. Slopes from sandwich panels allow you to hide all these irregularities. Narrow apertures are also better to be put in order simultaneously with the replacement of the window.
Another intermediate option, which is suitable for windows of any configuration, is the use of a gyro with the subsequent sticking on it of a thin sheet of plastic. A fairly laborious process, requires a lot of effort and money, but it is suitable for any openings.
Slopes of sandwich panels - the most applicable option of finishing. And there are a number of explanations for this.
- They are easy to install with their own hands.
- This is an insulated version of the doorway finish.
- Suitable for any windows regardless of the material.
- The minimum time required to complete the entire procedure.
- Ease of use during further operation.
- Suitable for walls of any thickness.
- An acceptable price, which combines an ideal balance with the quality of the finish.
The technology of mounting slopes, including sandwich panels, provides for several stages. The sequence of steps is selected for each opening. The most convenient option, which is suitable for plastic windows, is the use of the start profile. It is fastened to the frame at the time of installation and has special grooves where the panel is inserted. For wooden windows, this method is not suitable. It is better to lay slopes from the sandwich panels on the mounting foam, smudging the joints with silicone. But to avoid contact with this dirty and dusty work, it is more convenient to order windows at once "turnkey". In the end, you get a neat hole without much trouble.
