Who caught the goldfish in Pushkin's fairy tale?

The fate of a man can be compared with the share of a fisherman from the childhood fairy tale of Alexander Pushkin. Who caught the goldfish, that was lucky. Only here donated on a silver platter is not appreciated. It is not enough to get well-being, a favorite job, to develop a business, to buy or build a house. Much more important, owning everything, not to lose the human face and conscience, not to become like an old woman. It is important to remember that in life there is nothing eternal - all at once can collapse just as suddenly as it appeared.

Dreams are an incentive in life

A person always wants something: more money, a better apartment, success in his career. If a friend, then the most faithful, his wife - the most beautiful, her husband - that he would carry his whole life on his hands. But, having received the desired, thoughts are immediately transferred to a new object. And desires do not end there. As long as a person dreams, he lives. Dreams stimulate perfection, achieve the goal.

It's only in a fairy tale that the wishes are helped by good wizards and fairies. In life it's quite the opposite: to get something, you have to work hard. Have you met a lot of those who caught a goldfish Or let out a bottle of gin?

Exit from the comfort zone

A person lives with his usual life. Already got used to the old man for thirty-three years to his hut, and the old woman - to the broken trough. And everything seems to be comfortable: life, income, habits. For them, this is a comfort zone, they do not know the other. But my grandfather caught a goldfish.

It is worth to happen to some event in life - everything is collapsing. It is necessary to get used to a new harmony. And soon it seems that there was no previous life, and I want even more, better.

Could things have been different?

Why, after living on the shore at the sea for thirty-three years, the old man did not become rich, did he achieve anything in life? Why did they live with an old woman in an old, drooping dug-out, having the closest access to immense wealth of the sea?

And what does a man need to achieve huge goals and realize ambitions? Quiet peaceful harbor, peace, comfort and reliable rear. A woman should encourage her man to do something.

Could the old woman have provided such conditions? The question is rhetorical. And he, being a kind and simple-minded man, lost his "I" under the pressure of the halves.

Personality of the old man

Why did not the author of the tale give the old man a name? Probably, he wanted to show that the image of the hero is not single, but generalized - the type of peasant-henpecked.

My grandfather was hardworking. This is what the old man caught in the goldfish. The net is a big net for fishing, to make it, it takes a lot of patience and skill. How much effort was invested! And the failures did not discourage the old man's desire to work. He did not give up. Again and again he threw his net before success was crowned.

And he had a good heart, since he endured his old woman for so many years. Yes, and, having caught a goldfish, did not ask for anything, let it go to the depths of the sea. But he could easily radically change his whole life and get rid of his annoying wife. And only her reproaches forced him to turn to the fish for help.

So it turned out: the one who caught the goldfish, did not enjoy the result of the fulfillment of desires. Just like in our time: some are hard at work, others enjoy life, often at someone's expense.

Is everything always what is being done for the better?

Omar Khayyam wisely marked the worldly truth: "You got out of the mud into the princes, but quickly becoming a prince, do not forget that you will not jinx: the princes are not eternal - the dirt is eternal ...". The old woman, who became a noble lady, without making any effort, did not appreciate the gifts of fate. It was the law of life that brought her back to the broken trough.

In his work Omar Khayyam many times drew attention to the fact that we are all guests in this world and everything here is given to us temporarily. The main thing is to remain decent people.

We were all brought up on a kind old fairy tale about a goldfish, learned to recognize good and evil, pitied the old man and condemned the greedy, evil old woman. But, unfortunately, not everyone remembers the lessons of childhood. I want luck in life, a lucky chance. And few people think about true values.

It is important, having overcome difficulties, having achieved goals in life, having conquered peaks, to remain decent people, and not to envy those who caught a goldfish.
