The girl did all the dirty work around the house and never rebuked the evil stepmother, nor her daughters, who also hurt her and often brought her to tears.

And then the girls grew up and became brides. The old man was sorry for the eldest daughter because she was obedient and hard-working, but he was already sickly and old. And so they began to think with an old woman how to marry their daughters. The old woman really wanted to find the groom of the eldest, Marfushka, first of all, in order to get rid of her.

The brief story of the fairy tale "Morozko" can be continued with the following event: one day the old woman ordered her old man to harness the horse in the morning , and Marfutka said that she would collect her goods, because they would go to visit the groom. Marfusha was happy with this happiness and slept all night sweetly. In the morning she got up, prayed to God, washed herself, dressed up, and the time was winter, frosty. The evil old woman put the old cabbage soup on the table and told Marfusha that she did not want to see her again in her house.
