Three years before the release of this picture under the direction of director Alexander Rogozhkin, the previous film about the peculiarities of the national hunt, which pleased many Russians, has already appeared. Therefore, it was decided to continue the adventures of three friends. And it happened. And at first no one from the crew told about where they were shooting "Peculiarities of National Fishing".

In the first part of this long history Raivo has already managed to find out what the real Russian hunt is. Now he will personally see how the local peasants usually fish. Three heroes, with whom the audience had already met - General Ivolgin, hunter Kuzmich and Leva Soloveichik - gathered for fishing. As usual, they began to drink without stopping, did not pay attention to what happened abroad, on the territory of Finland. As they crossed the border illegally, friends are going to quickly return home, to Russia. Only in a hurry they completely forgot about fifteen boxes of a warming drink they took with them on fishing. So they need to go back and take the vodka. Men are ready for anything for such a serious mission. They even involve the Russian Navy.

Ba, familiar to all faces!

The director decided to leave the same actors for filming in the second part about the adventures of Russian peasants. This was done for one simple reason: the new film is a sequel. Therefore, other people would not give a full picture of what is happening. And left in the film Alexei Buldakov (general), Viktor Bychkov (Kuzmich) and Semen Strugachev (Soloveichik). Ville Haapasalo, adored by millions of Russians, has not disappeared anywhere.

For the filming of this film was prepared as many as 30 boxes of alcohol - the real vodka. By the way, in the frame, the actors were drinking it. While working on the film, the crew accidentally fell from a raft, which at that time was a temporary site for filming. Eight members of the group nearly choked in not very warm water. Thanks to the illuminator, who with heroic effort managed to pull the cord (and the voltage was 380 volts) before the raft went under water, the crew remained alive.

Another incident occurred with Alexei Buldakov. He had a ring cut off his finger, a gift from his wife. The actor dived after him into the water, catching the ring simply with the help of a miracle - with his mouth. And while he was floundering in the water, he continued to shoot.

Force Majeure

So where did they shoot "Peculiarities of national fishing"? The description of these places can best reveal the mysterious and sometimes incomprehensible Russian soul. The entire filming process took place in Karelia, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. To be more precise, it is in the area of the Northern Ladoga area. It is the beauty of the places of Karelia that inspired the director to choose this object. Now this place is very popular with tourists camping "Kordon Kuzmicha."

It seems that the work was carried out according to plan, with the arrangement, but without force majeure it was not done. To show all the charm of the lands of Karelia, the operator ran around the rough terrain and tried to remove all the necessary landscapes at once, with one take. Next to him ran the actors. General Buldakov accidentally fell into the water, where he caught hold of the stone. As a result, the crack of the right rib. In addition, in this shot, he was shot in a heavy suit, which pulled him to the bottom. During the filming, everyone lived a huge, united family, worked for a couple of cents and did not think they were doing something special. Even after arriving at Kinotavr, the actors were sure that their film was quite ordinary. And even those beautiful places where the film "Peculiarities of National Fishing" were filmed did not seem special to the crew any more.
