However, with the onset of such changes in society, when the tribe and tribe began to form, a group marriage arose. This is a form of relationship between a man and a woman, which required the prohibition of sexual relations within one primitive family. It was allowed to come into contact only with representatives from another tribe. Such a ban is scientifically called "exogamy." And some researchers give an explanation of how primitive people came to this.

It turned out that the children were common, that is, they belonged to the whole family, and, accordingly, their education was conducted by a whole commune. Primitive people believed that husbands were not biologically related to children born of their wives.

They were convinced that the woman was pregnant from the coming of the spirit, which infused into her body a child. And her indirect relationship was not considered a betrayal, because, according to men, in their absence, a woman came to the spirit and fertilized her.

A walking woman "on the side" is considered a betrayal.

In our modern society, group marriage is something out of the ordinary and is considered shameful - such families are not taken seriously. Now generally young people do not seek to bond themselves with family ties and especially to acquire children. According to them, marriage is too difficult and responsible.

Group marriage with time gave birth to matriarchy, which lasted for many years. But then other people came to replace these times ... The popes wanted to know their children exactly, and this kind of marriage died. Today, throughout the world, perhaps, there are several peoples who practice this way of life. But matriarchy and group marriage were replaced by a monogamous one, which means that the time for virginity and patriarchy has come. In modern families, men are leading, they are considered to be heads, on their shoulders lies the whole responsibility for their relatives.
