What does the coat of arms of Chile?

His birth in 1834, the symbol of the country is obliged to the Englishman Charles Wood Taylor. Before this event there were repeated attempts to create the emblem of the country. The globe perpetuated this column with a crossed spear and palm branch. The coat of arms of Chile is not just a chaotic picture, every image has a special meaning. The star symbolized the path to a brighter future. In the upper part there was an inscription "Light after darkness".
