But if an adult has weak manifestations of the disease, then it can take a day or two to lie down, take a pill of activated charcoal and follow a certain diet. So what can you eat with poisoning?

The diet of the patient should be made up of light meals, it is desirable that the food had a liquid or puree consistency. The main task of therapeutic nutrition at this stage is to remove the load from the digestive tract as much as possible, that is, to exclude the use of foods that "irritate" the organs of the digestive system.

It is important to know not only what you can eat while poisoning, but also about how long such a diet should last. As a rule, with an easy degree of poisoning, it is enough to switch to light food for three days. In more severe cases, the duration of the diet is determined by the doctor.

So, let's tell you what you can eat when poisoning. Firstly, all foods are recommended to be consumed exclusively in boiled form, it is recommended to use a steamer for cooking. As already mentioned, the consistency of the dishes is important, at first, the food should be crushed with a blender or, in the old way, wiped through a sieve.

Proper nutrition during poisoning regulates not only the list of products, but also the temperature of the dishes served. The patient needs to be given food in a warm, but not hot way. Cold dishes should also be temporarily excluded.

For dinner, you can cook boiled meat (low-fat), semi-liquid rice or buckwheat porridge. As a dessert, you can offer baked apples. It is recommended to replace fresh bread with dried crackers.

Talking about what to eat when poisoning, you can not fail to mention the products that should be completely eliminated during the diet. During this period, you should not eat fatty foods, you need to completely abandon the sausage, smoked foods, canned food. It is not necessary to drink whole milk during treatment, instead of it it is better to take low-fat kefir or natural (without sweet additives) yogurt. Under the ban fall and all the sweets, ranging from sweets and ending with cakes and pastries. Do not drink coffee and cocoa during a diet.
