What are natural minerals?

Natural minerals are clusters of organic or mineral origin located in the earth's crust. Due to their special physico-chemical properties, they are widely used in the most important spheres of human life, for example, as raw materials or fuel resources. The existing classification distinguishes three of their main categories (depending on the aggregate state in which there may be some natural minerals): gaseous, liquid and solid.

Under the surface of the earth, such useful resources can be located in the form of various accumulations, for example, rods, veins, placers and nests. These formations are called deposits. Depending on the extent of such formations, small, medium and large deposits are distinguished, otherwise called basins, or provinces. The extraction of natural resources is most effective in areas of large deposits. The development of deposits can be made in various ways. The modern mining industry has many devices and mechanisms for the most efficient extraction, transportation and storage of useful resources.

Natural minerals have a fairly simple classification according to their purpose. Allocate:

1. Ore substances.

2. Non-metallic.

3. Flammable.

4. Hydromineral.

5. Mineral and chemical.

6. Stone-colored flowers.

7. Construction.

The most valuable of all the currently produced useful resources are coal, gas and oil. Such natural resources make it possible to receive most of the energy, both electrical and thermal, in all corners of the globe. Consider these resources in more detail.

Coal

The location of deposits of this type of minerals is almost directly dependent on the climate and the available geological conditions. Nevertheless, coal is found in the territories of many countries and practically on all continents. The origin of such a natural resource is quite simple. This substance is the result of natural processing of biomass deposits. The quality of coal is greatly influenced by such parameters as temperature, pressure, oxygen percentage and many others.

Gas

This substance is referred to as different terms, for example, natural gas or associated gas. This resource is a very effective fuel used in everyday life and in production. From this colorless volatile compound, it is possible to obtain not only heat and electricity, but also various types of plastics and synthetic fibers.

Oil

Like coal and natural gas, this substance was formed for a long time from the remains of animals and plants under special conditions. Such natural resources are of great importance for the economy of many countries of the modern world. During processing, oil breaks up into fractions, from which in the future produce a huge number of compounds and materials.
