Analyzing what halvah is made from, scientists came to the conclusion that it can be called the most savory treat. The sugar content in halva is only 30%, while traditional sweets and cakes contain about 80% of sugar. Halva is even recommended for the elderly, since it contains a lot of elements useful for the body. But to overdo the use of sweets is not recommended - especially for those who easily gain weight. In addition to sugar, halva contains high-calorie proteins and fats, which makes it 2 times more calories than jam.

And now a surprise for researchers who do not understand much about what halvah is made of, but it is imperative that we try the new recipe ourselves. This is Azerbaijani halva and, of course, it differs significantly from Iranian (traditional), but it is good in taste and easily prepared at home. So, first prepare a slow syrup from half a cup of water and a half cup of sugar. Two glasses of flour slightly dried in a pan, add 300 g of melted butter and salt. You can use turmeric as a seasoning. The resulting mass should be roasted on fire until a dark color (slightly reddish). The mass must be stirred all the time - otherwise the components will burn to the frying pan. Yes, by the way, it's best to use Teflon dishes and a wooden spoon. When the flour takes a dark shade, it is necessary to pour in the prepared syrup. All also need to stir, and when all the components are connected, you need to prevent the mass for another three minutes and immediately spread out on plates. Sprinkle with cinnamon and treat everyone close.
