  • Half a kilogram of mountain ash;
  • 200 g of fresh apples;
  • Half a kilogram of granulated sugar and half a glass of plain water.

Rinse berries and pick from garbage, peel apples. After the rowan blanch in the water for half an hour - let the liquid pour out, after cool, and fold the berries in a colander. After that, put berries and apples in a saucepan, pour in sugar and pour in a little water, cook over medium heat for about half an hour, and after that, cool and let stand for 12 hours (you can leave it overnight). The next day, cook again for 5 minutes - the jam from the black chokeberry with apples is ready, it can be poured over cans, corked and left in a dark place until winter. If you cook a small portion, the sweet billet can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. It is delicious to eat with tea, but can be used as a filling for pies or for making kissels or drinks.

Such unusual harvesting will take a worthy place among your stocks for the winter, you will need:

  • Half a kilogram of aronia;
  • 300-400 g of apples;
  • 1 whole lemon;
  • 100 g of peeled walnuts;
  • Kilogram of sugar and a glass of plain water.

Note that you will need a ripe, but not chopped chokeberry. Preparation should begin with the removal of debris and twigs from the berry mass. After that, rowan well washed, pour a specified amount of water, put the sugar and put it on the stove for half an hour. Then add the sliced lemon slices from which you need to remove the bones. Cook for about a quarter of an hour, and then pour the chopped walnuts into pieces. Note that your jam should be moderately liquid, as it will thicken when cooling. Done - now it can be poured on cans, rolled up and left for winter. By the way, you can sterilize the dishes for bottling (jars and lids) in the oven, after washing them with soda. Minutes 15-20 at an average temperature is enough to use them for long-term storage of blanks. Now you know two excellent ways to make delicious and unusual jam from black chokeberry with apples.
