Flowers fragrant peas on the right became the favorite vines of the majority of florists. And this is quite understandable. The plant is considered fast-growing, pleases the eye with beautiful flowering and exudes an amazing aroma.

Planting of sweet pea is mainly made for vertical decoration, although the emerging varieties of low-growing varieties are now becoming popular. Lianas, on average, can stretch to two or three meters, and low grades - up to 40 cm. Sweet peas - an ornamental plant with flowers, collected in inflorescences, reminiscent of butterflies with straightened wings. They have a large collection of different colors and a pleasant fragrance.

Planting of sweet pea is done by seeding or sowing seeds directly into the soil. For seedlings, the seeds are sown in boxes or in a bowl with fertilized organic soil.

Sweet peas, planting and care for which are quite traditional, it is necessary to sow in March. Before planting seeds for a day are soaked in water, a dense shell for rapid germination is removed from the seed. In the third May decade, transplants are transplanted at a small (30 cm) distance from each other. Digging should be done carefully, so that the earth lump on the roots of the plant does not crumble.

Landing in the ground involves the fulfillment of several requirements:

  • The land must be light, well dug and fertilized with organic matter;
  • The plant loves moisture, it should be watered abundantly, but rarely (when drought - once a week);
  • When watering the ground it is necessary to soak deeply (the flower is completely moisture resistant, but a strong drought causes wilting and color drop);
  • Young seedlings need to pinch on the third leaf, in order to stimulate the growth of lateral shoots;
  • Feeding and seedlings, and young shoots is made by complex fertilizer ;
  • The flower needs a crop rotation, it should be returned to its original place in five years.

65 days after the shoot and until the first frost, the fragrant peas are flowering. Planting and care, produced correctly, will give a stunningly beautiful flower garden. The plant achieves the greatest decorative effect in places, caressed by the sun's rays, with deeply watered and fertilized soils. From it you can create pyramids on lawns, decorate balconies and cuttings.

Top dressing

Three meals a day is done. The first is the beginning of the growth of stems. For top dressing take a tablespoon of urea and nitrofoski on a 10-liter bucket. The second is when flowers appear. Take a tablespoon of "Agricola-7" and sulphate on a 10-liter bucket.
The third - later, during flowering. Organic fertilizers "Agricola for flowering plants" and "Rossa" are taken and are bred in 10 liters of water. At 1 m 2 consumes up to four liters of fertilizer.

The most common disease of the plant is considered to be false and real mildew, spotted brown, black stalk, aphids and nodule weevils. To prevent the disease with powdery mildew, it is necessary to spray the plant "Topaz" before the beginning of flowering, diluting its one ampule in 10 liters of water. But against the spotting and the black leg will work preparations "Fitoverm" and "Spark".
