Water heating: the advantages of the system and the features of its installation

The most popular option for heating residential, commercial and industrial buildings has been for many years still water heating. This system includes radiators and convectors of heating, water pipes laid under the floor, and wall heating panels. Due to the circulation of water heated up to a certain temperature or a special anti-freezing liquid-antifreeze, the heating devices installed in the room transmit heat.

The choice in favor of such a heating system was made not accidentally. Being the most cost-effective carrier of heat, water 100% copes with the task. Using modern technology allows you to lay heating pipes directly under the floor or in the walls, which does not affect the interior of the room. Water convectors heating, differing in the variety of designs and sizes, are an indispensable type of climate equipment in most apartments with a modern design. Their diversity is simply amazing.

Water heating has the main advantage over other systems, consisting in the ability to use absolutely any kind of fuel for heating water. For example, an installed gas boiler, due to the relative cheapness of the gas itself, will save a lot of money for heating an apartment or a private house. In the event that you do not want to depend on external energy sources, autonomous gas heating is the best option.

For the functioning of the heating system, it is necessary to fill the tanks with liquefied gas specially installed near the house and control the amount of it, periodically replenishing the tanks. Autonomous water heating can be operated from liquid / solid fuel boilers. As fuel for such equipment, coal, coke, firewood, pellets or diesel fuel is used. A significant drawback of such devices is the need to manually load fuel. Water heating, operating from an electric boiler, despite a number of advantages, assumes significant energy costs.

Water heating systems have two types of wiring. The first type - single-pipe wiring - is based on the consecutive transition of heated water through all connected heating devices. Two-pipe wiring requires an independent supply of coolant to each device. This makes it possible to adjust the temperature regime separately for each room.

The choice of the type of heating device depends on personal wishes and on the thermal power of a particular model. Consumers prefer different types of radiators, which can be cast iron, aluminum, steel or bimetallic. An alternative to standard radiators is heating convectors, which are universal equipment. They are used as both a primary and an additional source of heat.

Characteristic for most modern multi-storey apartment houses, the radiator heating system is characterized by minimal equipment costs and low energy efficiency. The water heating of individual houses is characterized by the possibility to choose the optimal equipment and associated elements, however, in order to achieve the maximum effect, it is recommended to combine several different types of heating.
