Visa to Croatia for Russians - what will happen next?

Croatia is a beautiful country that attracts tourists from all over the world. Our compatriots, who have chosen the Adriatic coast with blue water and endless bays, are no exception. This demand for recreation is due to the fact that a visa to Croatia for the Russians was not required, and many preferred the resorts of this country.

Every year, vacationing Russians became more and more, and it was the ease of crossing the border that was the reason. Thanks to this influx of tourists in Croatia, tourism began to develop actively, there were new jobs - guides, realtors, tour operators, hotel and hotel staff, restaurant workers, merchants and even souvenir producers.

But sooner or later all good things come to an end. A visa is required for Croatia for Russians - this requirement was presented by Brussels within the framework of the country's accession to the European Union on July 1, two thousand and thirteen. In addition to Russia, such restrictions have affected Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkey.

Agro-enterprises, the largest corporations are re-bought by European giants, the banks are transferred to the management of Union Credit. This state of affairs in the country is irretrievable, but Croatia, in particular the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, promises to organize visa centers on the territory of Russia, so as not to lose potential tourists.

A visa to Croatia for Russians and its registration will be a standard procedure, as for other EU countries. On this basis, a hundred Russian travel agencies were accredited, among which a contest was held to create visa centers outside of Moscow. According to the representative of the Croatian Foreign Ministry, experts will be sent to Russia to help organize the centers.

Visa to Croatia for Russians - what will happen next? After all, the Adriatic is not only Croatia, but also Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia, where there is a visa-free regime for our compatriots. In addition, these countries are actively developing in the tourism industry - low-cost hotels are being built, service prices are acceptable, and recreation is available to different segments of the population. And it may be that the choice of potential tourists will not be in favor of Croatia at all, and the fault is all - the newly established visa regime, which adds a lot of difficulties in organizing the trip.

Schengen visa

Yes, and a little about what a Schengen visa is. The requirements for obtaining are simple and are determined by only three points:

  1. A foreigner document is required. Schengen states accept a Russian passport, provided that it is valid for at least three months after the end of the visa period.
  2. A tourist must be financially secure, have means of subsistence, a dwelling for the duration of his stay in the Schengen area, a ticket or money for a return trip.
  3. It is prohibited to travel persons who threaten the rule of law and the legality of one of the Schengen countries.

Registration does not last as quickly as we would like, but if a Schengen visa is required urgently, it will take a few days for an extra fee.
