Valery Grushin: biography, family

He was born on October 23, 1944 in the main city of the republic of North Ossetia - Mozdok. His father, Fyodor Ivanovich, was a military pilot. Therefore, the family often moved from one place to another. The mother of our hero, Bella Yakovlevna, received a musical education. While the children did not grow up, it did not work. After all, she had to cook for a large family, and still clean the house. Then before retirement, the woman worked in public catering.

At the time of his acquaintance with Bella, Fyodor Ivanovich was a widower. From his first marriage he had a son, Yura and daughter Nelya. A young girl took them, always treated like relatives.

In 1944, Bella and Fedor were born a common child - the son of Valera. At that time the Grushins lived in Mozdok. Soon the father of the family was transferred to a part located in the Far North. He took his wife and children with him. In December 1945 the Grushins had a replenishment. Another boy appeared in the world - Mikhail. In July 1947, Alexander was born.

In the early 1950s, the family finally settled in the Kuibyshev (Samara) region. Pears lived poorly, but amicably. The children helped the parents in the household. My father served at the station "star" in the village of Kinel-Cherkassy.

Childhood and youth

Valery Grushin grew up an active and inquisitive boy. He was very fond of animals. In the yard he had many friends.

Bella Yakovlevna saw in the son a great talent and creative prospects. Mother taught Valera to sing. She also gave him lessons in playing accordion, guitar and piano. In Novokuybyshevsk Valera attended school number 6, which he graduated with honors. Teachers for a long time remembered the diligent and gifted graduate.

In high school, he began to write poetry and create music for them. Even then, the guy thought about singing career. My mother fully supported him. But his father believed that a real man must earn money by physical labor.

Work and hobbies

After graduating from high school Valery Grushin (photo above) has submitted documents to the aviation institute, located in the city of Kuibyshev (now - Samara). A talented and self-confident guy managed to cope with the entrance exams. Our hero already imagined how to create new types of aircraft.

After some time, his younger brothers Mikhail and Alexander entered the same institute. All of them took an active part in student activities: festivals, amateur competitions and theatrical productions. But Valery Grushin stood out against their background. After all, only he knew how to play the guitar. He was often invited to speak at school evenings. The girls considered Valera a worthy knight. Some of them even tossed anonymous love notes into his bag.

Within the walls of the university he created the group "Singing Beavers". Valeriy Fyodorovich Grushin composed all the songs that are part of the collective's repertoire. He was the soul of the company. He invited his many friends home. The guys led spiritual conversations, joked and made plans for vacations. Sometimes until the night, the apartment sounded piano, guitar or accordion.

Our hero was a great craftsman. He was engaged in carving wood, repaired electric appliances, painted still lifes and so on. Valera was friends with the sport. The young man regularly played football and visited the pool.

His main hobby was hiking. To his 22 years he managed to visit the Carpathians, Sayans, the Urals, the Altai and the Kola Peninsula. Local nature inspired him to write new songs.

This guy had grandiose plans for creativity and further life. But fate decreed in its own way.

The death of Valery Grushin

On August 28, 1967, the "corn" brought a group of student tourists to the village of Nerja. Towards evening the boys reached the weather station Hadoma. Her boss was a hospitable person. He fed the students, left them to spend the night in his house.

On the morning of August 29, the head of the meteorological station decided to take two sons and a niece to Nerja with him. The four of them sat down in a motor boat. That day the current of the river was quite strong. The boat moved with great speed. At some point, she jumped on the shaft. The ship flipped over. The station chief, his children and niece were in the water, began to sink. On the shore there were only two people. This is the wife of the chief and Grushin Valery. The guy, without hesitation, rushed into the water. First he helped the girl get to the beach. Then Valera returned to the boat to pull the stuck in the stones Lyonka. But the ice water and strong current did not allow him to do this. Since then, no one has seen Grushin.

The head of the meteorological station, his niece Lyuba and his sons remained alive. They wanted to thank their savior, looking into his eyes. But he was never found.

Unsuccessful searches

The year 1967 was really terrible for the Grushin family. Fedor Ivanovich worked as a mechanical engineer at the local enterprise Giprokauchuk. He wanted to retire quickly and to nurse grandchildren.

When parents were informed about the death of their eldest son, they did not believe. Bella Yakovlevna went on fortune tellers. The woman wanted to know if Valerka was alive or not. However, she did not receive an intelligible answer. One fortuneteller said that he is alive and will soon return, the other expressed condolences in connection with the death of his son.

Numerous search operations have not yielded results. In the period from September 1967 to May 1968, From the river Uda got about 40 corpses. But among them was not Valery. Law enforcement agencies repeatedly organized an operation to comb the taiga. All these years the mother believed that her son managed to escape.

In the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda" (dated 8.02.1968) an article was published with the title "Feat of Valery Grushin". Close friends of the bard, as well as students of the aviation institute, told the whole country about this bright and sympathetic person.

The famous festival

September 19, 1968 lovers of songs for guitar gathered in the Zhigulevsky mountains. Almost 600 people are located near the natural boundary of the Stone Chalice. Everyone was ready for sincere speeches and rest in nature. And then the weather changed dramatically. It began to rain heavily, followed by wet snow. However, this did not prevent lovers of the tourist song from holding a festival of memory of V. Grushin.

In 1969, the Kuibyshev bards changed the place of collection, choosing a more convenient route. Soon this site was called "Festival". It has a good location: the railway line is nearby, and the Volga River is a short walk away.

The Grushin Festival is held now. Hundreds of bards from different parts of Russia come to the Samara region to listen to others and show themselves. Thousands of people come to this event as spectators.

Evil rock of the Grushiny family

In 1971, Valery's brother Mikhail died. He was also a student at the Aviation Institute. The guy rented a room in Kuibyshev. In the fateful night, Misha was preparing for the exams and getting angry. At that time her mother was at the cinema in the evening session. On the way to the house the woman saw an ambulance carriage at the entrance. She did not even suspect that her son was no longer alive.

Bella Yakovlevna and Fedor Ivanovich could not recover after the new tragedy. Every minute they missed their sons. They wanted to meet them more quickly in the next world. In 1990, Fedor Ivanovich died. Bella Yakovlevna could not find a place for grief. In 1993, she was gone.

On this evil rock of the Grushiny family did not end. Soon the youngest son died. Alexander was only 46 years old. The cause of his death was a heart attack. Sasha did not have any children. After the loss of Valery and Mikhail's funeral, he declared that he did not want to live without his brothers. And it looks like God heard his words. There is already no stepson of Bella Yakovlevna, Yuri.
