Vadim Sinyavsky - the founder of the profession of sports commentator

In August 2016 - the 110th anniversary of a man whose popularity was hardly inferior to the popularity of the most famous player of his time. Sinyavsky Vadim Svyatoslavovich passed away at age 65, becoming the mark of the whole epoch, the voice of the country's return to peace and the personification of the standard of the sports commentator's profession.

Short biography: the beginning

A native of Smolensk was born on August 10, 1906. Childhood passed in throwing between two serious hobbies: music and sports. Possessing an absolute hearing, Vadim Sinyavsky perfectly played the piano and even moonlighted as a taper. But he entered the Institute of Physical Education, after which he conducted "Morning Gymnastics" on the radio. In May 1929 the radio committee organized a test report from a football match, which was conducted by sports referees and Sinyavsky. To maintain a high rate of speech, each spoke for several minutes, yielding to the next microphone. The graduate of the Institute of Physical Education showed himself best and was accepted on the radio in the state.

Before the war, he had to report from other sports: from athletics to chess. But the main events for radio listeners of that time were football matches. Few people had the opportunity to visit large stadiums, and listening to the commentator's commentary, everyone drew a picture of what was happening on the field - so figuratively and accurately described the course of the game Vadim Sinyavsky.

Aphorisms of the genius of the reportage

The profession of the commentator requires proper diction, good knowledge of the subject and the Russian language, a pleasant voice timbre and an obligatory sense of humor. In the course of the match, non-standard situations arise that require an instant reaction from the reporter.

Before the war there were no special cabs, and he had to look for a convenient place from which the field can be clearly seen. So, in 1939 in Sokolniki Vadim Sinyavsky climbed a tree, where he fell during the first half. Because of the pause he had to explain to radio listeners what happened: "Friends! Do not worry, everything's fine. It seems that we fell from eating ... "

Internally intelligent, he never allowed himself to reproach the players or express his opinion about the coach's actions, but his jokes became aphorisms and went to the people. So, the kick of football player Kopeikin he called "ruble". A jump goalkeeper Khomich - great, although the ball at the same time flew into the net gate.

War

In the rank of Major Vadim Sinyavsky went through the whole of the Great Patriotic War as a military broadcaster of the All-Union Radio. He led reports from historical parades on Red Square, from besieged cities, including from absolutely unique places: the burning tank, the bunker of Field Marshal Paulus.

In the besieged Sevastopol, together with the sound engineer Natanzon, he made his way to Malakhov Kurgan, where he fell under a mine fire (February 1942). Having lost a friend, the correspondent himself was seriously wounded and spent three months in hospitals. He lost his left eye, but returned to the front and until the triumphant day did not let go of the microphone.

For the heroism displayed during the war years, has many awards, including three orders.

A family

Sinyavsky was married to Irina Kirillova, a working journalist for the newspaper Pravda. In the marriage two children were born: Yuri's son (born 1943) and daughter Marina (born in 1955). Last time Vadim Sinyavsky became a father in 49 years. Prior to the meeting with Kirillov, Sinyavsky already had a son, Sergei, born in 1933, who inherited his father's musical talent. He died early, and in 2011 there was no Yuri, a graduate of the MAI. Marina is a philologist and works as a literary editor. At her father's request, she did not change her surname, and she remained Sinyavskaya.

Last years

Sports reports resumed in 1944, and in 1949, with the match "Dynamo" -CDKA for the first time a television broadcast was conducted. But Sinyavsky did not develop a novel with television. There are many reasons for this, including the consequences of injury. The audience saw what was happening on the field, and it was impossible for the commentator to make mistakes. He found a successor in the person of Nicholas Ozerov, the first report with which the teacher and student spent together in 1950. But until the last days the master did not part with his favorite work. On the radio, Vadim Sinyavsky still reigned on the air. Quotations of the commentator became winged expressions, as, for example: "Beat! Another blow! "

Once in Moscow, at the stadium "Dynamo" (1949), on the field was a cat that interferes with the game of players. Under the hooters of the audience for ten minutes, the guards of the order tried to catch her, and Sinyavsky had to tell the radio listeners about the events happening, causing audience laughter.

He passed away from oncology in 1972, but remained in the hearts and memory of those who were his contemporary. His talent for today is captured in three art scenes, where he acted in his own role. His voice is spoken by cartoon characters, but football fans can be grateful to Sinyavsky only for the fact that at his insistence M. Blanter once composed the "Football March". With him begins every match of the domestic championship.
