Upbringing And Teaching In Primary School

The pedagogical community is agitated by the introduction of new standards of primary education since September 2011. Teachers-theorists quite reasonably offer modern requirements to education and upbringing in an elementary school. Teachers of practice also strongly protest, citing the difficulties of Russian education.

Reforms of the school never pass quietly. This is evidenced by the bright history of pedagogy. Problems always arise from the fact that "from above" you can not see what is happening "below". The per capita financing of schools was introduced to stimulate teachers, but they did not think how it would turn out in Russia. Most Russian schools in villages and small towns were left without a social and psychological service, without GPA educators, without the organizers of the children's movement. In this way, salaries are raised for subject teachers and primary school teachers. The burden on primary school teachers has increased several fold. And now also the standards of the second generation.

The idea, as always, is good. With this, no one argues. Education in primary school should be based on uniform requirements, based on the expected results in the personal development of students, in the development of subjects, in the formation of universal educational activities.

Having become acquainted with the list of requirements, it can be said that upbringing in an elementary school for many years included a large part of them. They just wore a recommendation character, not a normative one. Primary school teachers have always tried to raise their little schoolchildren good people. They gave enough space for the education of morality, health saving, collectivism, aesthetic perception of the world, etc.

To a greater extent, it is education in primary school that must change. The concept of the development of universal learning activities is the basis for programming the educational process in the school. Universal educational activities, which need to be formed in younger schoolchildren, will allow to bring to the fore the personal activity of the student, his motivation in cognitive activity. UAL should prepare a school graduate for successful independent life planning.

Education in primary school should give the student the opportunity to learn various ways to solve problems (both educational and applied), learn to set goals, plan, determine the results of their activities, be able to act in situations of victory (success) and defeat (failure), in the initial form Master reflexive skills, actively use models, symbols, schemes to solve set educational tasks.

The junior schoolboy must confidently use information and communication technologies, successfully work with textual information. The list of UDD includes the ability to publicly speak, using various types of information.

In addition, a primary school graduate should be ready for conflict-free cooperation and teamwork in a group of students.

The methods of teaching in primary school are also being revised. The project activity of students is considered to be a priority.

Education in primary school in accordance with the new standards should be focused on the individual educational trajectory of each student.

Undoubtedly, the requirements of the standards of the second generation are up-to-date. But let's return to those who will directly implement these standards in practice. Left alone with the new requirements, with 10 mandatory hours of extracurricular work, with a huge list of necessary documentation, will the teacher be able to withstand all this simply physically? Will he have the opportunity to just talk to the child heart to heart? How much the teacher's attention and his smile mean to the first-grader!

How to form a motivation to study in the initial part of the school, if a simple teacher does not even have time to check all the notebooks. One does it in the corridor during the break (you can not leave the children unattended), the other sits until the morning. And what, the health of teachers - it does not matter?

Of course, it is quite possible to introduce standards in the well-coordinated work of a primary school teacher, an informatics teacher, a psychologist, and an additional education teacher. If there are computer classes for the primary level in the school, rooms for additional education. But such schools - one per thousand in the Russian outback. Most often at the front of primary school there is only one - the first teacher of kids. Do they think about it when they decide to reform their education in primary school ?
