To make a plow with your own hands is not so simple

Technology replaced human labor in all spheres of activity. Modern households can not be imagined without a tractor or motoblock, which are designed to facilitate the work of farmers. Recently, due to the large demand, the tractor attachments have increased significantly in price. This affected the ingenuity of people who learned how to make machines themselves.

How to start

To make a plow for a motoblock with your own hands is not so simple. To make the attempt a success, you need to first understand the design of the unit and the process of plowing. Experienced farmers know that the technology of plowing cultivated soil is significantly different from plowing of untreated stagnant soils. Therefore, when working on a self-made plow, this must be taken into account.

The working parts of the plow are the share, the blade and the field board. The body of the unit with a three-edged wedge cuts off the layer of earth, raises it, crumbles, turns, and then drops it into an open groove. This plowing process is based on the interaction of the trihedral wedge with the soil, which should smoothly close the furrow.

It is best to make the lemesh removable, so that you can sharpen it before work. To do this, a circular saw blade or steel 45 is suitable. To bend the sheet, you need the sheet bending rollers through which the steel is passed and then trimmed with a template using a hammer. There is an option of making a share from a steel pipe, which already has a bend. Only before the beginning of gas welding work, it is necessary to cut out the template from the cardboard and, applying it to the pipe, draw a contour.

The body of the plow is made of sheet steel 3 mm thick, previously drawing and making details of thick cardboard. At this stage, the main thing is not to change the ratio and the magnitude of all angles.

When all the parts are ready for assembly, you will need a welding machine and a steel sheet that matches the size of the plow.

Plow with own hands: assembly

First, the required angle is set on the sheet, under which the share will be fastened. It is necessary to seize it from two sides by welding, and then under it to bring the side shield of the rack. The shield should protrude beyond the edge of the sheet so that the blade can cut the earth without interference. It should also be welded to a sheet of steel and to a ploughshare.

The blade should dock tightly with a ploughshare, this is necessary in order to make a quality plow with your own hands. Here, the size of the angle (approximately 6-8 degrees) must also be strictly taken into account. If the corners do not respond, then everything is finished with a hammer.

Afterwards, the spacer, the base and the stop angles are attached to the shield. When all this is partially welded, it is necessary to inspect the plow and then completely weld it. The sheet of steel is disconnected by the Bulgarian. Now you can clean the plow and process it with a sanding pad. To the unit itself worked, you need to attach a two-wheeled unit. It can be built from steel wheels and pipes.

You can still make a plow with your own hands. Only an inveterate farmer familiar with metalworking is capable of this. Despite the laboriousness of the process, the end justifies the means.
