Alexander Filatov - the actor of the Moscow theater "Sphere", created in the late 20th century. This drama theater is not like everyone else. This is a very unusual room. About the theater

The theater "Sphere" was founded by the outstanding Russian director Ekaterina Elanskaya. The first actors in her troupe were Oleg Dal, Georgiy Taratorkin, Alexander Kalyagin, Georgy Burkov. They laid the main idea of the theater: communication of artists with the audience and creating an atmosphere of involvement of the public in action.

The first performances of "Sphere" took place in the Palace of Culture "Kauchuk", then in the Concert Hall named after. PI Tchaikovsky, as there was no own room for the troupe.

Since the foundation of the theater until 2013 (that is, until his death), his artistic director was Ekaterina Elanskaya. It was the first in Russia, who united actors in different theaters in their productions.

Performances went without scenery - on an empty stage, and were accompanied by live organ music. Often they sounded the songs of Vladimir Vysotsky, as well as verses by S. Yesenin and M. Tsvetaeva.

The first productions were created based on the works of A. Maurois, A. de Saint-Exupéry, Vasily Shukshin, F. Dostoevsky.

In 1984, the theater "Sphere" was one of the first to show the public the play based on Edward Albee's play "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" Directed by the scandalous director Roman Viktyuk.

In the same year, the troupe found its building. It is located in the Hermitage garden. Here the theater is located to this day.

Filatov Alexander Sergeevich is one of the most popular actors of the Sfera Theater. The artist was born in 1960. He graduated from the Yaroslavl Higher Theater School, specializing in "Drama Theater and Cinema Actor". Since 1987 A. Filatov serves in the "Sphere". He performs diverse roles. His first role in the theater was a servant in the production of "The Green Bird" based on the work of Carlo Gozzi.

Alexander Filatov also has experience working in film. To a wide audience, he became known precisely for his work in films and television series. He played both episodic and main roles.
