The third bridge in Novosibirsk: the scheme of movement along the Bugrinsky bridge

Many roads converge in Novosibirsk: road, navigable and railway. During peak hours, the load of two automobile bridges in the central districts of the city is colossal. You can stand for several hours without the presence of a traffic accident. If the latter happened, then the longer it takes.

In such a big metropolis there are quite few through roads. And those that are available, with an abundance of intersections with traffic lights, tram, railway or one-way traffic. All this complicates travel and complicates the traffic situation with a large number of machines, allows them to accumulate and create huge congestion. Therefore, the construction of the Bugrinsky Bridge was a necessity that had been brewing for quite some time.

Bridges of Novosibirsk

Bugrinsky is referred to in Novosibirsk as the third bridge, but why, forever remains a mystery. In fact, bridges are much larger.

  • The north bridge is a bypass new highway. It originates near the village of Prokudskoye and stretches to the village of Sokur. In its combination, it has a bridge overlapping the Ob and combines the public routes M-51 and M-53.
  • The communal, or, as it is also called, the October Bridge, united two districts of the city from different shores. From the left bank - Leninsky, October - from the right. The first movement along the bridge began in the autumn of 1955. At that time there was a tram line and a road. At the moment, the bridge is intended only for cars and amateurs to enjoy the sunset. There are also walking slopes to the beach and the park.
  • The metro bridge is the nearest neighbor of the October Bridge. They run parallel to each other. This is the only covered railway bridge of such a length in the world. It united the branches of the metro on the left bank of the "Studencheskaya", on the right - "Rechnoy Vokzal".
  • The bridge of the HPP passes through the shipping channels of the lock.
  • Dimitrovsky Bridge - a later construction, combined the eponymous Dimitrov Avenue from the right bank with the prospect of Energetics on the left bank.
  • Bugrinsky - the youngest of all the bridge. The scheme of the movement along the Bugrinsky bridge connects the Kirov and Oktyabrsky districts.
  • Neighbor Dimitrovsky Bridge - Railway. The oldest and the very first on the Trans-Siberian highway through the river Ob, erected in the late XIX century, still in Novo-Nikolaevsk. Now these are ways for electric trains, freight trains and passenger rail transport.
  • The second railway bridge, or Komsomolsky, is also located in the system of the Trans-Siberian Railway via the Ob. Built in the early twentieth century.

Uniqueness of the project

Bugrinsky Bridge - the route from Bolshevistskaya Street to Vatutina Street. In fact, this is only a small twist in the global construction of South-Western transit, which is being designed and being implemented now. During the construction of the bridge, the choice was not made arbitrarily, because the town planning council considered several projects.

Taking into account geographic and geological factors: the channel of the Ob River, groundwater, nearby surfaces, the choice fell on a beam bridge with overlapping in the navigable part of the cable-stayed structure.

There is no such bridge nowhere else. Since the Ob River is navigable, the fact was primarily taken into account that two ships could disperse under the bridge. And it succeeded, even there was still a place both in height and width.

As an architectural find, the cable-stayed construction was ideal here. It allows suspended ceilings to be placed above the surface that they hold. This is its main advantage and the most important distinctive feature.

In this case, the length of the suspended shipping floor is 380 meters. It is by far the longest suspended structure in the territory of Russia. It has a mesh arch and a viewing platform.

The scheme of movement along the Bugrinsky bridge assumes travel by cars, and lovers of long walks can view the local beauties, breathe in the gassed city. This kind of arch, shaped like a curved bow, is often used in the symbolism of other building structures of the city, for example, you can see it in the famous opera house.

Decoupling on Vatutina street

The scheme of movement along the Bugrinsky bridge will connect the left bank of Novosibirsk with the bridge with four congresses. A pedestrian bridge was built for holidaymakers to get from the Vatutin Street from the ski base to the snowy slopes of the Bugrinsky Grove.

After the completion of the construction, one can observe how the trees were drifted several tens of meters from the side of Vatutin Street as a flat strip. Cut down trees compensated for the planting of new seedlings in the Kirov region to the adjoining territory of the bridge. A special budget was allocated for these purposes, three trees were planted for one destroyed tree.

The denouement on Bolshevik

Bolshevist Street in the vicinity of the bridge has changed. The carriageway is considerably expanded for the highway capacity. The movement along the Bugrinsky Bridge provides for the exit to the bridge and exit from the extreme right-hand lane. On both sides of the road there are pedestrian sidewalks and several bus stations.

Future plans

Governor of the Novosibirsk region Vladimir Gorodetsky after cutting the red ribbon of the Bugrinsky Bridge enthusiastically voiced further plans for the construction of large-scale highways in the city. The very first and important he noted that it is necessary to build another bridge across the Ob river. Quite an active movement today falls on the road Chui tract, passing through Novosibirsk and its nearby points, such as Iskitim and Berdsk. Passage of this section of the road reaches about 50 thousand cars per day. The situation is complicated by the fact that many citizens live within these areas and every day they go to work in the city, and in the evening they return back.

The construction of this detour will significantly relieve the direction from the city to Leninsk-Kuznetsky to the junction with Koltsovo and Akademgorodok.

South-West transit plans to link the Chuysk tract and the territory of Novosibirsk from the Kirovsky district, connecting the M-51 and M-52 motorways. The beginning will be a bunch of the Tolmatic and Ordynian directions, end on the Eastern bypass, smoothly passing to the Gusinobrodskoe highway.

The Bugrinsky Bridge will enter the South-Western transit system. It is planned to make a broad highway on three lanes in each direction. Also, in tasks to create such a movement at the junctions of the Bugrinsky Bridge, which will allow you to navigate through four districts of the city, cross the Ob on the bridge. This direction will be the longest road in the Novosibirsk region.

The next bridge is planned to be built near the embankment of the right bank. He will unite the street Hippodrome with the area of Labor. The authorities are planning to make the passage for this bridge paid. Are Novosibirsk ready for such a decision, time will tell.
