This seemingly first and insignificant step, in fact, is a kind of filter for the adequacy of the future worker, his ability to master information, his elementary culture. Of course, you can attract attention with eccentric exclamation marks, emoticons, all sorts of pictures or large text. But it is necessary to take into account before writing a response to the vacancy, that "by clothes" (that is, by style, spelling, even e-mail address) is met.

So, what needs to be taken into account first of all? First, from which address to send a letter. Even if it seems to you that your personal box is an example of creativity, the employer does not have to think the same way. Therefore, the response to a vacancy, an example of which should be copied to itself and based on its own, should be sent from a neutral, more or less formal address: one in which there will be no obscene associations or words. This is also important because often spam filters in a company can simply not miss such a response to a job. The sample can be perfect, the content is excellent, but the letter simply does not fall into the employer's box.

The message (most often we communicate with our potential superiors by e-mail) should not be long. The maximum length is up to 700-1000 characters (this is approximately 8-10 lines). You should not shower your soul, complain about your previous employers, describe your genius on ten pages. Remember: this is just a response to a job. The example can be proposed as follows: "Hello, I found your ad on the website ... I was interested in this vacancy so much that I would like to propose my candidacy for the position in question. As a confirmation of my competence and work experience, I send a resume (portfolio , A letter of recommendation , etc.). "

Remember that an empty letter the employer is likely to throw out if it ever gets into his box. In the subject of the message, you need to specify a specific vacancy (for example, "sales manager in Europe" or "turner of the 3rd level") or the source from which you received the information: "response to the ad on the site ...". It is also necessary to follow the rules of etiquette: the letter should begin with a greeting, and end with the formula "with respect", "with best wishes", "I hope for long-term cooperation" or similar.

It is recommended for official use or job search to create a separate box and your contact information (phone, possibly a website) in the signature. This will add seriousness and significance to your message. But even if you do not have such a signature, do not forget to leave the coordinates for the link at the end of the letter. It is unlikely that the employer will want to continue communicating with the anonymous author who did not even bother to send a resume.

The response to the vacancy, the example of which we cited above, should not contain errors: they are capable of frightening off not even the most demanding employer.
