The poet Belov Dmitry

Belov Dmitry Ivanovich is a poet of Russian origin, who became famous for the most part thanks to a cycle of poems called "Workers' Songs" and a collection in the verse form "May in the Heart". Among other things, Dmitry was closely acquainted with the legendary poet Sergei Aleksandrovich Yesenin. For several years young people corresponded with each other.

early years

The future poet was born on November 8 (according to the Julian calendar - October 26) in 1900 in Ivanovo-Voznesensk province, the village of Andreevskoye. About the early years of Dmitry Belov little is known. It can be reliably said that the future poet lived in a poor peasant family. Later Belov Dmitry changed his residence and settled in the village of Tesino. When he grew up, he went to work. At the time of his youth, Belov was a shepherd, and later he did get a job at a local factory. During the revolution, Dmitry Belov enlarged the ranks of the Red Army. There, he rose to the rank of commander.

The beginning of a creative career

The beginning of literary activity was laid in 1920. It was then that Belov Dmitry worked in the local Ivanovo-Voznesenskaya newspaper under the name "Smychka". In parallel, the poet was published in rather popular magazines such as Komsomolia, Novy Byt and Krasnaya Niva. However, this did not last long. After all, soon Dmitry Belov was forced to leave the newspaper.

Further activities

During the years 1921-1923 the poet was in the Kineshma Uyezd Committee of the RCP (B.). Nevertheless, Belov does not forget about creativity. In his spare time, he uses his word and continues to write his poems. It is worth noting that Dmitry Belov, despite his own inexperience in the literary plan, wrote quite worthy works that were popular. As proof of this, we can cite even the fact that the famous Soviet writer and Stalin Prize laureate Alexander Serafimovich highly valued the work of a promising poet .

Belov Dmitry continued to create, and soon he became a prominent figure in the literary community. For example, the notorious Soviet art historian Mikhail Sokolnikov devoted a whole article to the young poet in a magazine called "Literature of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Territory." In it, he wrote that Dmitry Belov - a real nugget, which leaked into Russian literature from factories and villages. Criticism was greatly impressed by a cycle of poems and poems called "The Boy Underground". Sokolnikov was impressed with the innocence and kindness, childish naivety, which impregnated this work.

In 1920, Belov published a poetic collection entitled "At the Turn", which contained a series of "Working Poems", which brought to its author immense popularity. In the cycle included such poems as "Again the whistle roars," "Gave me a power plant violent ...", "Chu, poured ...". These works became a real Soviet classic.

In 1927, a new collection of poems by Belov - "May in the Heart". In it, the poet in every possible way sang the village and dreamed that once the unbridled land would turn into a well-groomed agrarian corner.

Acquaintance with Esenin

The poetry of Sergei Yesenin strongly influenced the work of Belov. When Dmitry was a student of the party school, he became closely acquainted with the legendary poet. After Belov left the institution in 1924, he continued to communicate with Esenin by correspondence. When the great poet died, Dmitry Belov published his new poem "In Memory of Sergei Yesenin" in the local newspaper Rabochy Krai.

In 1926, Belov's illness took a turn for the worse. He fell seriously ill and for a long time was treated first in Ivanovo, and then in Leningrad. Despite this, the disease took its toll. Dmitry Belov died on April 4, 1942.
