Fusarium (Fusarium wilt)

Malignant disease affecting the whole bush, from the root system to the leaves and stems, which change color, wither and eventually wither. The source of the problem is the fungus parasite, especially well-felt in hot weather. In the soil, it persists for several years and is passed on to strawberries from beds before it was occupied with contaminated vegetable crops.

Treatment

Prevention is the main way to protect seedlings: it should be healthy, adapted and planted on parasite-clean areas. If the symptoms have already manifested, then you have to use chemistry: "Fundazol" or "Benorat".

Black rot

The disease affects the berries. From the name it is clear what the infected fruit looks like: it is covered with black spots, which are clusters of a mushroom mycelium. High temperature and relative humidity play into the hands of the pathogen.

Late blight

Gray rot

Powdery mildew
