The frame for gypsum cardboard - ingenious and simple
The frame for plasterboard is mounted from a special metal galvanized profile, which can be of three types: guiding, rack and ceiling.
Because of the moisture absorbed by the tree, it deforms when it dries out, first of all it concerns the bar, which was initially saturated with moisture (not completely dried up), which, unfortunately, is very common. When the bar dries out, its curvature occurs and, accordingly, the gypsum board attached to it repeats these curvatures. This in turn is the cause of the appearance of cracks and generally leads to the curvature of the entire structure. The wooden frame for drywall has one more important "minus" - the lack of perfectly flat sizes. This leads to a lack of evenness of the whole structure in the final result, which can not be said about the metal profile, with which perfectly smooth frames for gypsum board are created, since the profile has perfectly exact and identical sizes.
The first step in solving the problem of how to assemble a frame for drywall is marking. Since the installation of any frame design starts from the perimeter, it is first necessary to draw the outline of our skeleton. To do this, on the floor we draw a line that will serve as a guide for fixing the guide profile. Then, using a plumb line, we draw the same line on the ceiling. Further we conduct vertical lines on the wall with a step (600 mm), along which the racking profile will be fixed, and on these lines we drill holes for dowels with which we fix metal plates.
Given the above, we can conclude that there is nothing complicated in the installation of the frame for gypsum board, it is only necessary to study a few nuances of this type of construction work.
