From death, she is rescued by an unknown person in the mask of Guy Fawkes. He takes her to the roof, where the girl sees the blast of the courthouse. This occurs on the night of November 4 to 5. It was on this day that the English nobleman Guy Fox, one of the participants in the Powder Conspiracy, was to light a wick leading to a room full of gunpowder. It was located under the House of Lords. The subversion of the building failed because the conspirator was captured and executed.

The authorities explain the explosion of the courthouse by an emergency demolition, but an anonymous masked man who has captured the television station utters a speech in front of the audience, in which he calls on the inhabitants of London to revolt against the totalitarian regime of Chancellor Sutler. When the security services break into the telecentre, Ivi rescues V. Passing through the brutal test that an anonymous masker prepared for her, she decides to join him in the fight against tyranny.
