In the film "Carnival Night" actors Yuri Belov and Georgy Kulikov play the roles of an electrician and an artist who help Lenochka Krylova in everything. However, the character of Yuri Belov - Grishka Koltsov - does it altogether from altruistic motives: he is secretly in love with Lena and hopes thus to achieve from her reciprocity. Sometimes a young man even goes on a frank blackmail. And in the final picture he still manages to draw the attention of the beauty.
George Kulikov as Usikov
Young actors of the movie "Carnival Night" later became famous and recognizable personalities. George Kulikov, who appeared in the picture in the image of the artist Usikov, was not less fortunate: throughout his life he played the leading roles in nine films, and in dozens of films he appeared as secondary characters. The actor can be seen in the films "Ordinary Man", "The Girl Without an Address", "The Cranes Are Flying", "Three Rise Against", "Clear Sky" and many others.

The actors Alain Babenko ("Driver for Faith"), Sergei Bezrukov ("Admiral") and Sergei Makovetsky ("Liquidation") tried to resurrect a long history, but to play it out in new circumstances. Of course, the film did not enjoy such popularity as the original. But, most likely, Eldar Ryazanov and did not expect a deafening success, but just wanted to once again remind the viewer of the once-created masterpiece.
