Thermophyne insulation: characteristics and temperature regime. How correctly to wash a jacket with a heater "Termofin"?

Every year on the market there are ultra-fillers for outerwear and other textile products. Not so long ago, consumers tried the "HoloFiber" socks, but the competition does its job, and now its positions are confidently won by "Termofin", "Tinsulate", "IsoSoft", "Slimex", "Meida", "Clo-star", " Alpoluxe "and others. Each manufacturer claims that it is his material - ultra-modern, wear-resistant and made especially for low temperatures. Of course, the technology goes forward and allows you to create such synthetic heaters, which are not inferior in nature to such characteristics as safety and reliability. And if we talk about the weight of products with such fillers, then they are much easier, for example, analogs from sheepskin.

But what properties does the thermal insulation already mentioned have? This article will answer this question.

Product Creation History

Until recently, almost all synthetic heaters were imported from other countries. Accordingly, the cost of finished products was higher. But in 2009 the Russian company decided to borrow the Finnish manufacturing technology and produce its own raw materials - thermal insulation "Thermophin". At the same time, high-quality German equipment is used. The production capacity is located in the suburbs. That is all according to the highest standard and in accordance with European standards.

Finland - Scandinavian country, where winters are no less severe than in Russia. Therefore, Finnish specialists are constantly working on different innovations, which contribute to greater comfort when the needle of the thermometer drops below zero.

What it is

"Termofin" (from the word "heat" and the abbreviation for "Finnish") is a textile insulation consisting of ordinary highly-developed and bicomponent fibers, which has ease and thermoregulation. It is made only from primary raw materials. The bicomponent fiber consists of two elements: the shell and the core. The latter is made of polyester molecules and has a higher melting point than the shell. Therefore, when it is placed in an oven, the shell melts and sticks together with ordinary fiber, and the core remains intact. Thus, many air chambers are created inside, and the structure of the tissue itself becomes three-dimensional. Therefore, the insulation "Termofin" is obtained both strong and almost weightless at the same time.

It is practically non-toxic, so it is especially recommended for making children's clothes, as well as bedding for people with allergies.

Stages of production

  1. A computerized system mixes bicomponent and conventional high-fiber fibers in the right proportions (15% and 85%).
  2. The mixture is sent to the container, where it is combed vertically and horizontally. Thus, the material at the output is uniform, without lumps and seals.
  3. Then everything is placed in a melting furnace where, under the influence of high temperatures, ordinary and bicomponent fibers are glued together, forming very strong joints. The holding time is very important here, because any deviation in one direction or another will spoil the material, making it either too rigid or too loose.
  4. Sharp knives cut uneven edges along the width.
  5. The finished material is rolled into rolls.

Characteristic: "Thermophin" (insulation)

  • Softness and elasticity. Since in the manufacturing process there is no need for standard processing on the calender (usually warmers are driven through hot shafts to make the material thinner and denser), then the output is not knocked down and hard, but airy and soft fabric.
  • Resistance to low temperatures. This is the most important characteristic of a heater, since if it were not, all other advantages could be eliminated.
  • Ecological compatibility. Most textile heaters are made from recycled materials - the results of recycling of rubbish, glass, plastic, but "Thermophyne" is made solely from the primary material without harmful impurities.
  • Ease. This heater is almost weightless due to the special structure of the air chambers. The canvas is produced in thickness from 1.2 to 2.7 mm, therefore, the product with such a heater will not be bulky.
  • Has water-repellent properties, does not absorb moisture and unpleasant odors.
  • Durability. The service life is 10 years and more with proper handling.
  • Affordable price.

"Thermophine" (insulation): to what temperature of the air warms this material

From it sew both demi-seasonal and winter outerwear, depending on the density of the insulation (and it is 100, 150 and 200 grams per m²). Thermofin insulation will not freeze even at a temperature of -55 ° C, and this is almost the limit for medium latitudes, not to mention the average winter figures.

From a material with a density of 100 grams per m², autumn and spring jackets are sewn, in which it is very warm and cozy in inclement weather and wet weather. There is an additional plus: since this heater has water-repellent properties, the rain or wet snow is not terrible for him.

Children's products

This heater is especially recommended for sewing clothes for newborns. It is absolutely safe for the health of babies. "Termofin" even has a special certificate "Eco-Tex Standard 100" for the 1st category of goods, confirming it.

In addition, children's clothing with Thermophyne, in particular overalls and autumn-winter jackets for children, is especially practical in wear, because things do not create the effect of a spacesuit, but on the contrary, a child can freely move, run, jump, play snowballs And engage in other winter pranks.

Care of products

How correctly to wash a jacket with a heater "Termofin"? There is nothing complicated here. We recommend a delicate machine wash at 30 ° C, spin at low speed. It is better to use liquid detergents or capsules, but loose and aggressive powders are contraindicated. Bleach is strictly prohibited, but chemical cleaning is permissible. Naturally, you can also erase manually.

After drying, the product quickly acquires the original shape, but it is better to dry it outdoors or in a well-ventilated room.

So, before the next hike in the shops for winter clothes, why not pay special attention to the products with this heater? The price and quality will pleasantly surprise.
