The content of the "Magnificent Age" somewhat departed from the official historical reality, but, as for me, it is not so significant, and the series is presented as an artistic one. The main events coincide - and that's good. Although the sultan seemed somewhat more sluggish or detached. Constantly surprised rounded eyes, when something happens in the harem! A kind of holy naivete in his personal life and a very tough guy in politics!

The other characters in the series also show themselves completely from unexpected sides, changing as they gain power, which invariably leads almost everyone to perish (as the content of the "Magnificent Age" says). Ibrahim, Khatije, Valide, and in due course Shah-sultan, Lutfi-pasha go to the past. Skilfully managing affairs, nevertheless Hurrem sometimes stumbled, for which periodically fell into disgrace of the ruler, but, returning, gained more power. Maybe it's because she learned from her mistakes, and the enemies - no, maybe because there was really a huge love between her and the sultan. The fact remains that it is difficult to hurl a hurrem, and even after ten years of captivity, arranged by Mahidavran, she will return to arrange a great carnage. Here we come to the fourth and final season of the series.
