Rhinestones - an imitation of precious stones from lead glass. Invented them in the XVIII century, the German jeweler Georg Strass (from the author's name and their name came to be), which used glass stones in the manufacture of jewelry. The technology of working with rhinestones is not very complicated, but requires certain skills. Particular attention is paid to the selection of quality glue for glass stones.

How to choose glue for rhinestones?

There are several types of rhinestones:

• For sewing;
• Hot fixation, or on an adhesive basis, which must be preheated before heating (with an iron or a special soldering iron);
• Cold-fixing stones for which glue is required.

When choosing glue for rhinestones, the following recommendations should be adhered to:

The stores offer a wide selection of glue. The needlewomen prefer such brands as E6000, E8000 (it is waterproof and flexible after drying); Creartec (water-based, odorless); Viva (from the German manufacturer); UHU (except for fabric and glass can be used in nail design).

How to apply glue for rhinestones on nails
