She has a branching erect stalk with petiolate, sessile, notched upper and lyrate lower leaves. Her flowers are four-leaved, yellow, collected in apical brushes. Useful properties of this plant are due to its chemical composition. Sturgeon (medicinal herb) contains vitamins B and C, flavonoids (glycosides of quercetin and kaferol). In its seeds there is a fatty oil containing oleic, erucic, linoleic, linolenic, stearic, eicosenic, eicosa diene and palmitic acids. Also in them there is glucobarbine (thioglycosides). Some of the substances contained in this plant have a toxic effect, so its use for medical purposes must take place with certain precautions.

Sturgeon is a medicinal herb, for therapeutic purposes it is used almost completely. So, the roots, stems, young pods, etc. go into the course. Preparations from it have a diuretic, tonic, activating the genitourinary system, and accelerate the healing of wounds. Fresh greens are used in cooking.

For medical purposes, I found a wide variety of applications. In particular, it helps with scurvy and hypovitaminosis, paralysis, edema, after a heart attack and stroke, with epilepsy. For this purpose, infusion is made from it. Also on the grass are brewed tea, which is drunk to prevent general weakness. Sturgeon helps with erectile dysfunction, paralysis, infertility. For this, a broth is prepared on its basis. Powder and juice from rape are used to treat epilepsy, kidney ailments, prostate adenoma. Tibetan healers used her seeds in case of leprosy. In addition, for medical purposes, collect its green shoots, which are crushed and added to soups, borscht, it is sprinkled with sandwiches and meat dishes.

For medical use, the grass of the rape is harvested during the flowering period, as well as the roots of annual plants harvested in early spring or autumn. They are dried in rooms (well ventilated), spreading thin, not more than 5 cm layer. If this process is not performed correctly, the grass will turn yellow and become unusable.

The main drug form is the infusion of dry or fresh herbs. For this, a tablespoon of the crushed plant is poured with boiling water (volume - glass) and insisted for 3 hours, after filtering the agent can be used. The recommended dose is a quarter of a glass four times a day, the course is two to three weeks.

They have preparations from this herb and contraindications. In particular, they are undesirable to use in inflammatory bowel diseases and gastric ulcer.
