Spicy quince, baked in the oven with salty stuffing

It is customary to consider steamed in the oven fruit filled with different fillings, sweet dessert. Most often this method of heat treatment is characteristic for dense in texture and rich in taste fruits - apples, pears and quinces. They look wonderful with whipped cream, custard and grated chocolate. Is it possible to serve as an unusual second dish of the proposed fruit? How is it prepared, for example, such a baked quince? The recipes presented in this article amaze with their originality due to an unusual combination of sweet taste of fruit and piquantly salty "shade" of fillings filling fruit baskets.

Quince baked in the oven with minced meat: used products

At 5-6 pcs. Medium-sized quince fruits will require the following components.

For filling with meat stuffing :

  • 500 g of low-fat minced chicken (2 parts) and beef (1 part);
  • 1 medium bulb in size;
  • 1 small clove of fresh garlic;
  • Green fresh parsley;
  • To taste pepper and table salt.

For sauce :

  • 4 full st. L. Light sour cream;
  • 4 full dessert l. Oily cream;
  • 1 table glass of any broth (meat or vegetable);
  • 1 tbsp. L. Any vegetable without a smell of oil;
  • A mixture of seasonings (pepper, paprika, coriander, oregano, basil).
  • 5 sprigs of green fresh dill;

For ruddy top crust :

  • 150 g of dense soft cheese.

Quince baked in the oven with minced meat: cooking

  1. Meat is mixed together with onions and garlic. Greenery chop finely and add to ground meat. Add seasoning spices and season with salt. Stir the stuffing carefully, slightly beating off, as on cutlets.
  2. Wipe the willow by removing the upper whitish coating, and then scrape the inner flesh with a knife or pointed spoon, forming a "basket" with walls 1-1.5 cm thick.
  3. Fill fruit "pots" with stuffing densely. Place them on a greased baking sheet, and then in a preheated oven for baking at 200 ° C. After 20-25 minutes mincemeat should lightly brown on top.
  4. Mix all the ingredients of the sauce. The baked quince will be much juicier after you pour the prepared mixture of the basket. 1-2 tbsp. L. Leave the sauce for cheese mass. Bake continue for another 15-20 minutes, slightly lowering the temperature.
  5. Cheese grate large and mix with finely chopped dill, add the remainder of the sauce for viscosity. The resulting mixture put on a quince and browned for another 5-7 minutes.
  6. Serve the dish with a vegetable salad, decorating with sprigs of greens. An excellent addition is mustard or hot tomato ketchup.

Quince baked in the oven with rice filling

To add a piquant taste to this traditional white granular filler, use additional ingredients. After all, it is usually made sweet by savoring honey, raisins and vanillin. Quince, baked in the oven, is slightly different to taste, if you put a little ground nuts mixed with finely chopped chicken fillet.
