Sphere of application of galvanized steel

Steel, which is sold in rolls, has a different thickness, so the weight of one roll can also vary. Steel sheet is with a polymer coating, and without it. It has several shades, very often when carrying out special processing, polymers having different characteristics are often used. The choice of polymers depends on what properties will be present in the product.

What is a galvanized roll? This strip became cold-rolled, which is covered with zinc. In order for the product to be of high quality, it is necessary to use a good metal product of certain grades. The minimum thickness of steel reaches 0.3 millimeters, the maximum - 2.5. The width of one strip can be 1000 millimeters, and also 1500.
Roll steel is used for the following:
- for subsequent painting;
- for general use;
- for the profiling procedure;
- Stamping.
Steel zinced can be disbanded using special equipment. The advantage of rolls is that this material is compact and it is very easy to transport. The galvanized roll is not inferior to sheet steel for its performance. Steel in it is as durable and resistant to corrosion.
Where is galvanized steel used? Almost everywhere, in many spheres of production. It is used in the manufacture of components required for roofing, drainage systems and chimneys, units that are operated in high humidity conditions, in an aggressive environment.
Galvanized roll is used as a raw material in the manufacture of profiles for installing gypsum board, other materials needed for finishing. Thanks to the spread of new technologies used in finishing works, rolled zinc-plating materials have become popular on the sites where construction is being carried out.

- Thanks to a unique technology, galvanized steel has anti-corrosion properties. The roll has a passivation layer, it protects the steel from the appearance of rust;
- galvanized metal can be used for a long time, since galvanizing helps to preserve all properties that provide protection for several years;

- Metal is stable in temperature changes, it does not change its properties;
- Galvanized materials have an affordable and low price, and this reduces the cost of construction work. They also minimize the amount of waste received during the production process;
- a small thermal conductivity of the material makes it attractive for the production of materials for roofing and sandwich panels.
