Snail from a tire: how to make
Owners of country sites always want their offspring to look beautiful and well-groomed. To do this, they not only master the basics of agriculture and agronomy, but also often take a great interest in arranging the garden landscape, so that the land not only bears fruits, but also gladdens the eyes of holidaymakers. Within the culture of landscape design came to us a fashion for garden sculpture. In Europe, it was traditionally the figures of gnomes, considered shoddnikami and perfume of the garden. At us the habit to furnish a garden with sculptures has got the features - on sites of our compatriots gnomes a rarity. But they are full of other inhabitants, made from improvised materials: plastic bottles, old utensils and even from automobile tires.
Rubber, from which these automotive products are manufactured, is cut with a very sharp knife. If possible, it is better to use it at all for cutting it with an electric jig saw. Still, in order to get a snail from a tire, you need to stock up with screws, a screwdriver, a pair of metal rods, gasoline and water-based paint. It is better to choose tireless tires for tires - a metal mesh inside the rubber, because the process of cutting them can be very laborious, it will require a lot of replaceable blades for a jig saw, and it is impossible to do this with a knife in general.
The next thing a snail from a tire will have is a shell house. From the opposite side of the side we begin to twist the rubber into the spiral, but not to the end - we leave the piece under the neck. Lock the sink with small screws. Now our snail from the tire should proudly raise its head - after all, it is almost ready. To keep the head of the snail, you need to insert twigs from the metal into the neck. You can replace them with thick wire, but a more rigid construction will be more durable.
