Plot

The second part of the game develops 2 months after the last events in the Arkley Mountains. A scientist from Umbrella Corporation - William Birkin, modified the T-virus, being at this moment in a secret laboratory located in the sensational city of Raccoon City. A new horrific non-cellular infectious agent, who received strain G, needed the "Umbrella", so a special squad was sent for him. However, between Birkin and the armed soldiers, an incident occurred, as a result of which both samples of the virus were taken to the sewer network, located near the laboratory. The rats immediately spread G and T-infection around the area. Thus began a new infection of the whole world.

At this moment a special forces unit is sent to the city, which receives an order to kill the scientist and pick up the virus. Sherri Birkin's father wanted to take his family and hide as far as possible, but he can not do it, and he's killed. Annette manages to escape and tell Sherry to hide in the police station. After listening to her mother, the girl goes to the police station, however, there she meets Claire.

As it turns out later, William did not die, since he managed to inject a large dose of the virus, which turned him into a terrible mutant. The transformed hero destroys the entire detachment of Hank in the heat of hatred of everything around him and goes in search of his daughter.

Infection

When the girl parted for a time with Claire, the distraught William finds Sherry Birkin and injects her with a deadly virus. However, he does not suspect that he will have a very different effect on the baby. Instead of perishing, she subordinates the infection to herself and does not allow her to control her mind.

After this, Radfild again finds a baby, who suffers from severe pain in the abdominal region. When deciding to find the antidote, Claire goes to a secret lab and meets there with Annette, who passes her instructions telling how to make an antidote. After this, the girl's mother dies at the hands of a distraught and mutated husband.

Claire creates the vaccine and injects it to the girl, but she is still infected with a virus that does not appear to be externally. After that, they meet with Leon. On the way from the lab, the heroes have to fight William. Sherry, Claire and Kennedy decide to blow up the research station, so that the mutated scientist dies, and the heroes manage to escape from the city.

After they left the "Raccoon City", Radfield leaves new friends to continue his search for his brother. Sherry and Leon find one of the patrol helicopters that takes them.

Subsequent events

After a while, Leon is offered a job as a secret agent of the United States. Sherry decides to place in the isolator, since the authorities are wary of her abilities derived from the G-virus.

After that, the girl has to live in confinement for many years. Later, the US government decides to use its potential for its own purposes. She is offered to go free if she agrees to become an agent. Sherry has no choice but to accept the offer.
