Sergei Chemezov - head of Rostekh corporation

Sergei Chemezov is the general director of Rostekh, the former head of Rosoboronexport. He is a member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia party. It is considered a close ally of Vladimir Putin. The Agency for Economic News contributes it to the top 10 most influential people in the Russian Federation.

Biography

Sergei Chemezov was born in the city of Cheremkhovo in 1952. In 1975 he graduated from the Irkutsk University of National Economy with a red diploma. Then he entered the higher courses at the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Russian Federation.

In 1980 he got a job in the experimental-industrial enterprise "Ray". Since 1983, he headed the representation of this company in the GDR. There, Sergei Viktorovich and met with Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.
