Stanitsa as the main administrative unit of the Kuban

Essentially, that's the way it is. According to official statistics, there are 26 cities, 411 rural districts and 12 settlements in the Krasnodar Territory. A total of 1,726 settlements, 11 of which are abandoned. Many of the present cities used to be stanitsas, and there are now more than 200 of them. The Annunciation

From the entire list of villages in the Krasnodar Territory, its location is the most successful. Blagoveshchenka, as the locals say, not only settled at three seas: the Black, Kiziltashsky and Vitiazevsky estuaries, but also is part of the resort city of Anapa.

The village was created by Zaporozhye Cossacks, who installed their own kuren in this territory in 1836, and this event happened on the day of the Annunciation. Hence the name went. For those who do not know, the kuren is the home where the Cossack family lives. In a broader sense, the word means a military stanitsa run by a chieftain.

At one time, Blagoveshchensk suffered a lot, and is now famous for its largest diving center and natural sandy beaches.

Golubitskaya

The list of villages in the Krasnodar Territory is rich in another resort area. Golubitskaya is located on the coast of the Azov Sea and is divided into two parts: the upper and lower. The main attraction - Golubitskoe Lake, known since the time of Catherine the Great, the presence of therapeutic mud.

Since 1879 there was a farm here, and in 1907 the territory became a stanitsa, which to this day is known for its three dozen mud volcanoes. By the way, the most popular are not far from the central beach.

In Golubitskaya village there is the largest water park on the whole Azov coast, near the lotus valley. Tourists have a belief that a bud opening will fulfill the desire, therefore the main stream of guests is observed in July-August.

Kanevskaya was formed in 1794 and united at once 2 settlements. 80% of the residents are Ukrainians, who categorically consider themselves Russian, although they speak exclusively in the Kuban dialect.

Leningrad until 1934 was called Umanskaya, and is now considered the second largest village in Russia.

Pavlovskaya is the most densely populated village of the Krasnodar Territory, which included others: Atamanskaya, Nezamaevskaya, Veselovskaya, Novoplastunovskaya.

Most of the documentation on the Kuban is kept in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, FSB, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol - in cities where people were taken away. On a note! The Arkhangelsk village was formed from the Voronezh province. The number of first residents was only 20 households. In 1793 they settled along the banks of the stream Soloveika (now the streets of Krasnaya and Makarova). It was this period that marked the first mention of the village of the Krasnodar Territory.

The list of residents, as was said earlier, is very difficult to find, almost impossible. However, historians claim that in fact about 20 families came to Kuban from the Voronezh province much earlier than 1793. Initially, they settled in the Karasevka Farm, which is on the left bank of the Chelbas River.
