"Sashka" Kondratieff: analysis of the story. Characteristics of the main character

Among the works that truthfully narrate about the terrible front-line everyday life of the Second World War is the story of the writer-front-line soldier V. Kondratiev "Sashka". There are no beautiful words praising the heroic deed of a soldier, who sacrificed his life in a terrible battle. The author does not show the valiant victories of the Soviet troops. The everyday life of a simple warrior who "found himself in the most difficult time in the most difficult place" is the main theme of the work "Sashka" Kondratiev. The analysis of the actions of the hero helps to understand what bothered and tormented the man, torn from the peaceful life and thrown into the very mouth of the war.

From the history of the creation of the story

Kondratiev went to the front in December 1941. As part of the rifle brigade, he took part in the fierce battles fought in Rzhev in the 42nd, was wounded, awarded a medal. Impressions from those terrible years were left for life, as evidenced by the analysis of the story "Sashka". Kondratieff, who took up the pen at a fairly mature age (the story "Sashka" was published in 1979, and in the 80th of its author was 60 years old), every night troubled dreams in which he saw fighting comrades from under Rzhev. He even tried to find fellow soldiers, but he did not find anyone, which gave rise to a terrible thought: "Maybe I survived alone?"

The writer admitted that he had read many works about the war, but did not find in them what did not let his soul go. And then he decided to tell about his "own" war, otherwise some page of it would "remain undisclosed". From this moment, Vyacheslav Kondratiev began his literary career.

"Sashka": a short summary of the story

The action takes place in early spring. The protagonist, Private Sashka, is fighting for the second month on the front line near Rzhev, but for him everything is already "as usual". The Germans all beat and beat, but they and their food is bad (because of the muddy even bread is not enough), and with shells, and dry clothes and shoes there is nowhere. Military life with the smallest details depicts in the story "Sashka" Vyacheslav Kondratiev. Analysis of these scenes leads to the idea of how difficult it was for a person in such conditions to remain a "Man" and not to cross the laws of conscience.

Revealing the character of the hero, the author draws the reader's attention to several episodes from Sasha's life. Completely humdrum, he commits his actions:

  • Gets boots for the company (not for yourself!), In which pima so leaky that you can not even dry it;
  • Captures a German who was shot and did not raise his hand;
  • Takes on someone else's guilt and delivers a young lieutenant from the tribunal;
  • She meets with the nurse Zina and leaves her road, learning that she has love with another.

This is the story of the story "Sashka" Kondratieff. The analysis of these scenes helps to understand how he managed to get through the prepared tests and not to lose the dignity of the hero.

Capture of a German

This scene is one of the key in the work. Sashka takes the tongue "with his bare hands", since he was unarmed. And suddenly at that moment he, who had been in the most dangerous and hopeless attacks, saw in the guise of a prisoner not an enemy, but someone deceived by someone. He promised him life, since on the leaflet, picked up on the way to the headquarters, it was written that the Russian soldiers did not scoff at the prisoners. Along the way, Sashka constantly felt a sense of shame and for the fact that their defense was useless, and for the fact that the dead comrades lay buried. But most of all he was uncomfortable with the fact that he suddenly felt unlimited power over this man. That's him, Sashka Kondratieva. An analysis of his state of mind shows why he could not shoot a prisoner and as a result violated the order of the battalion commander. Sensing his rightness, he managed to look directly into his eyes, why the commander had to cancel his original decision to shoot the "language". Later, Sashka thought that if he survived, this memory of the Germans captured by him would be for him the most memorable event in the war.

Here it is - one of the main qualities of a Russian warrior: always to keep humanism in yourself, to remember that you are a person. This is emphasized in the story Kondratiev. Sashka - analysis of the work that proof - was able to oppose good to evil in one of the most difficult periods of life.

Lieutenant's defense

Another important episode is the case in the hospital, when Sashka stood up for his new friend (a young lieutenant) in front of the officer. They were acquainted with something but nothing, but Sashka was well aware of what a lieutenant who had the title, Vladimir's quarrel, might face. And to him, ordinary, nothing will be: further forward all the same will not send. As a result, the lieutenant remained in the hospital, and Sashka was forced to go further to Moscow himself. The desperate and ardent lieutenant in fact was weaker than his superior in strength of spirit and the courage of the private - this leads to an analysis of the story "Sashka" Kondratieff.

Love Test

In the war Sasha met Zina. Acquaintance with her warmed his soul, since no one more dear to her for the hero was gone. Through the traditional test of love in love, his hero Vyacheslav Kondratiev. Sashka (whose brief relationship with her beloved girl can fit into several scenes) and behaves with dignity here: the ability to understand another person and spiritual kindness are stronger.

At first he looks forward to meeting the girl, and when she did, she finds out that Zina has a new love. At this moment Sashka is deeply disappointed. This is a misunderstanding of how you can organize a party, when there, on the front lines, all the fields in "ours". This is also a pain from the fact that she preferred Sasha to another. But he simply leaves, not blaming Zina for anything and not demanding any explanation from her.

So what is he, Sashka Kondratieva?

The analysis of the story and actions of the protagonist helps to understand the most important thing that the author wanted to convey to the reader: it is possible to go through terrible trials by war and save the Man in himself. He stresses this with the phrase belonging to Sashka: "We are people, not fascists". And there were a majority of such soldiers. Many front-line soldiers saw their comrades in combat as a hero. And this means that the victory was won just by such warriors, including V.Kondratiev himself, Sashka.

Analysis of the work helps to recreate the image of a Russian soldier: courageous, enduring, able to preserve humanism, faith in victory.
