Samet is a lost paradise

Unlike Samui, Phuket and Phi Phi, Samet Island in Thailand is known to a few Russians. But it has long been popular with European tourists. It is a three to four hour drive from Bangkok. Although in winter and early spring people, of course, more. And they come here only with one purpose - the sea, sand and the underwater world. The most "untwisted" and popular beaches, like Diamond, are in the east of the island. They are wide, sandy and very comfortable. The Awongduan Coast is in a perfectly round bay. There are many nightclubs, bars and discos with foam parties. But if you came to the island of Samet in search of relaxation, then at your service - southern beaches. They are not so big, but picturesque and secluded. If you live in an exclusive boutique palace, and not in a modest "treshka", most likely you will rest on the west coast. The local beach of Aoprao has to pacify and meditate. And from there you can go on a variety of sea excursions.

Samet Island and a small archipelago near it, as already mentioned, are part of the National Park. Therefore, here you can meet many exotic animals. This, for example, "hiccup" geckos, huge lizards of two meters in size and monkeys. However, the latter should be careful. They are like people: some individuals can distract your attention, and others will pull something together. However, the joy of contact with the wildlife will be complete, if you become acquainted with security measures. Samet Island (reviews of tourists confirm this) is called a paradise for divers and snorkelers. Of course, the underwater world of Thailand is not as bright as in Egypt, but flocks of bright yellow banana fish that eat fruit right from your hands - it's an unforgettable sight.

Tourist offices also offer routes along the paths of the local jungle and excursions to several Buddhist temples. You can see the unusual shape of the stones, which have acquired such a bizarre appearance due to wind and sea waves. They are on the beach of Ao Pudsa. And if you still like diving, and you want to continue to explore the depths of the sea, go to smaller islands. There, at a great depth you will see colorful corals, tens of thousands of gray-haired old hedgehogs with huge needles, giant shells that open and close the leaves and many other miracles. Samet Island is a real lost paradise! With the only difference is that during the holiday it can be found again.
