Salmon in the oven: recipe

Ingredients (based on 4 people):

- 4 salmon steaks;

- a little sea salt. This is ideal. If it does not, it can use ordinary salt, but only large salt.

- ground black pepper;

- Dried herbs (parsley and dill);

- Seasonings to the fish. You can, of course, do without them, but it will not be so delicious and fragrant;

- the foil itself.

Preparation:

First, prepare 4 sheets of foil. They will need to be torn off so that their size is equal to the A4 sheet . Rinse fish steaks thoroughly. After that, dry them with a paper towel. Each of the steaks must be rubbed with salt and sprinkled with pepper to your taste. Now lay every piece of salmon in the center of the foil sheet. On top of the fish sprinkle a little seasoning and dried herbs.

Then we pass to the most important moment - wrapping our salmon in foil. Cover the steak with foil on one side and press firmly against the fish. Now turn the salmon over with the leaf. Then carefully press the loose ends and twist them so that you get an envelope, inside which there is a fish.

Put these "envelopes" on a baking sheet and put in preheated to about 200 degrees oven. Baking time - half an hour. When the fish is ready, carefully open the foil envelope. Just make sure that it does not tear.

After this, tuck the foil around the steak so that the boat looks like a boat. All this is necessary in order that the juice that formed during the preparation of the fish does not flow out. And so it will remain inside your "boat".

While the steak is still hot, pour it a little mayonnaise. You can use a sauce for this, the recipe of which will be given below. Serve salmon better with boiled potatoes and only in hot form. Believe me, this is incredibly juicy and tasty food.

How to cook red fish in an oven

Very important point - exactly how you wrap the fish in foil. Do this properly: wrap each piece separately. At the same time, it is necessary to press the foil tightly against the fish so that its natural juice does not flow out and the excess air does not get inside.

If you use not steaks, but a whole carcass of fish, be sure to cut off the head, fins and tail. And check that the fish was without guts (if suddenly they were not removed yet in the store). Rinse it thoroughly with warm water, completely remove the mucus inherent in this type of fish. Now cut it into steaks about 2 centimeters wide.

And do not throw away everything that you cut off: tail, head and fins! From this you can cook incredibly delicious fish soup. Just remove all "waste" in a plastic bag and shove it into the freezer. Let it lie there until you start preparing salmon soup.

Cooking sauce

Salmon in the oven is best in harmony with this sauce.

Ingredients:

- yogurt, which has no additives - 200 grams;

- 3 cloves of garlic;

- a small amount of salt;

- 5 sprigs of fresh dill.

Preparation:

Squeeze the garlic crochet into yogurt. Add finely chopped dill and season with salt. Now mix everything thoroughly and the sauce is ready. You can add it to your salmon. Having tried, you will see that with this sauce the fish is much more delicious than with banal mayonnaise.
