Bake trout in the oven in foil, whole and steaks

Gourmets around the world have been arguing for a long time about what is tastier: fish cooked entirely or pre-cut into pieces. So we propose to hold a small duel and determine your preferences. To do this, bake trout in the oven in foil in two ways: we cook whole fish and steaks from it. What dish will be better, solve an independent jury - our relatives who will try these dishes.

Rainbow trout baked in foil

Ingredients:

  • 2 trout rainbow;

  • 2 tbsp. L. Olive oil;

  • A bunch of parsley;

  • lemon;

  • salt;

  • Ground pepper.

Fish preparation

So, today we bake trout in the oven in foil. Before this stage, we'll get to it, and start our culinary competition with fish cleaning. Remove the fins, gills, head, giblets carcass. Rinse thoroughly with running water and dry with towels. Cross the fish cuts.

Marinade

Lemon washing, cut along into two halves and divide each of them into thin slices 3 mm thick. From 4-5 obtained lobules squeeze the juice and mix it with olive oil, add pepper and salt to taste. Prepared marinade rub the carcass of trout from the outside and inside.

"Stuffing"

A bunch of parsley is rinsed with water, dried and chopped into small pieces. Nashigovyvaem greens inside the trout. Cut the slices of lemon into the slots previously made in the fish carcass.

Baking

Carefully wrap each trout in foil so that there is little space left inside. We put the fish on a baking tray and put it in the oven. Bake the trout in the oven in foil for about half an hour at 180 degrees. Five minutes before the readiness, we open the wrapper and give the fish a little fried. We serve the dish to the table, without removing the foil, but only gently twirling it around the edges. Garnish is perfect for vegetables cooked for a couple.

Trout steaks baked in foil

Ingredients:

  • 2 trout steaks;

  • Dill and parsley (dried);

  • Seasonings for fish;

  • Pepper fragrant ground;

  • Salt (it is better to use the sea).

Fish preparation

We begin to prepare our steaks from their processing: carefully rinse the pieces with water and dry with napkins. We rub each with a mixture of ground pepper and salt (with the latter it is worth to be more careful, since in the season for fish it is also contained). We put the steaks in the center of the foil (for each piece - your sheet), sprinkled with dried herbs and special seasoning on top.

Wrapping in foil

So, we arranged the steaks in the center of the foil, and its sheets should be large enough (here the principle works: better is better, the less). We fold the foil sheet in half, covering it with a fish slice, and, carefully joining the edges, on each side tightly fold them with a tube towards the center.

Baking

We put the resulting bundles on a baking tray and put it in the oven. Bake the trout in the oven in foil for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees. Ready-made steaks spread on serving plates, beautifully turn the top cap so that the formed juice does not flow out, if desired, fill with your favorite sauce.
