Roles and actors "Club of the rebels." Reviews of the movie "Club of the rebels"

Actors of the film "Club of the rebels" are young promising Englishmen, whose names will be heard by the whole world in a few years. The director of the picture Dane Lone Scherfig showed the realities of the golden rich youth of the most prestigious Oxford University. Of course, only United Kingdom subjects with their charm, understanding of traditions, inner core and unmatched English pronunciation could approach this role.

Conflicting emotions

This tape, when released in 2014, was not widely publicized and was not advertised. However, notorious movie fans do not miss any worthwhile film. This fate befell the "Club of the rebels." Reviews of the film were so emotional that they performed as well as any advertisement. And now, two years after the release of the picture, she did not lose her sharpness, relevance and is still able to shock.

People understand that closed communities and permissiveness, with which "golden youth" exists side by side, can meet anywhere, anywhere in the world. We can say that after viewing this picture, no one will remain indifferent and will after a long time comprehend what happened on the screen. Have you already seen the "Club of Rebel"? Actors and roles, as well as plot twists and turns will be presented to your attention in the materials of the next publication, devoted to good cinematography.

In the community there is a strict selection

If you are going to see very filthy scenes in the film, you can breathe out with relief. It will not happen. However, the realization of how children of high-ranking officials and lords act with impunity, how they behave with people who do not have high status, in itself makes you crouch with a silent horror in the chair. Only 10 members should be in the closed community "Club of the rebels". Comments about the picture cause a spectator's resonance. People are even shocked by the process of finding the missing two candidates, shown in the picture.

Now the remaining eight are faced with the task of finding new, no less "worthy" club members from among freshmen. Many students have heard about a secret society and are eager to join its ranks. However, not all so simple. The rookie must meet all the parameters: graduate from a prestigious school, have connections, noble parents, have charisma, a firm lifestyle, an outside attraction and never stop to reach the goal. That's why on the screen you will be met only by attractive young actors. The "rebel club" is an elite of British society, entirely impregnated with corruption, unscrupulousness and false morality.

Familiarity of the main characters

The main characters get acquainted with each other at the dedication of first-year students. Sociable Miles (Max Irons) immediately gets to know Lauren, played by Holliday Granger. Next to them at the table is a closed and arrogant Alistair (Sam Claflin). Most often in this situation, friendly relations are established between young people. But not in this case. Alistair is so immersed in his own concept of the world, so fixated on the future success in society, that his relationship with Miles is thoroughly imbued with the spirit of rivalry.

Nascent Enmity

The hero of Sam Claflin had never interacted with the girls before, because he was studying in a closed school for boys. From this side, he feels slightly flawed, not knowing how to attract the attention of the opposite sex. Alistair got used to the fact that everything gets to him easily, it is only necessary to hint. Even if Lauren did not like him so much, the fact that she preferred the other, causes him secret indignation and envy. Already, he wants to put everything in its place, insisting on the exchange of rooms with Miles. He lives by the principle "Never fail and compensate for them as you can."

A strange combination of circumstances

Today we are discussing the film "The Club of the Rebel". Perhaps in life this happens rarely, but everything is possible in the cinema. According to the idea of the scriptwriter Laura Wade, it is Max and Alistair who turn out to be contenders for vacant seats in a closed elite community. Alister's older brother himself was once a member of the club and had a solid reputation in it.

Members of the club, having a fun evening, accidentally get acquainted with a young man and immediately invite him to join their ranks. Miles was also lucky, because he approached all the requirements of the secret community. And here Alistair could not help but note how easily his competitor received an invitation to the club. So in the soul of the hero Sam Claflin, even more secret secret hatred has become stronger.

Is there a line that can not be crossed?

We have already talked about the three main characters of the film. Each character of the tape, despite all its chosenness, has its place. This was brilliantly demonstrated by young actors. The "Rebel Club" introduces us to the handsome Harry Villiers (Douglas Booth), before which the doors to the chosen seats are already open. Despite the fact that it is not he who is the president of the community, Harry is the instigator of many events, usually resulting in lewd acts or drunken debauches. All other members of the club blindly follow their unofficial leader.

Until now, all the joys of the "golden youth" did not go beyond the limits of the permissiveness for which it would be impossible to pay with money. So young people amuse their ego. They mock and humiliate ordinary people, setting up lawlessness in public institutions located far from London. But later they pay for it. Now, in the face of Alistair Rail, Harry Villiers has a competitor ready to go beyond a few drinks to cross that thin line beyond which even the money and power of his parents will not help.

How did young actors show themselves?

Most viewers, assessing the acting skills, are unanimous in their opinion: the main "rebel" Alistair Riley in the performance of the young British talent of Sam Claflin turned out just superb. When acting makes a lot of emotions, when the audience for a short period of time are really capable of hating the character, it speaks volumes. Probably, no one would have been able to cope with the responsibility assigned better than Klaflin. This is a worthy bid for success, and soon, most likely, we will be able to see it in the dramas of venerable filmmakers.

Max Irons and Douglas Booth also coped with their task. As a result, we received three such different male characters, on the whole made up a single ensemble. It is significant that the character of the heroes reveals new colors throughout the narrative. The viewer discovers for himself the inner demons of Alistair, hidden so deeply and escaping eventually outward. Miles Richards is torn apart by conflicting emotions, and in the end common sense prevails. Well, Harry Villiers, with all his loneliness and irresistibility is just a miserable coward.

Secondary roles and actors

The "Rebel Club" introduces us not only to members of the secret community where the president of Sam Ryde is played by the red-haired Hugo Fraser-Tayrit. We see not only the emerging relationship between Miles and Linda, forced to earn extra money in order to pay for training in Oxford. Paradoxically, the viewer sees a riot of ordinary people who do not want to put up with the arbitrariness of wealthy boys. The girl from the escort services Charlie (Natalie Dormer) does not want to go down to the status of a street prostitute.

Linda, who was summoned by Alistair Riley, using Miles's phone, does not want to serve pretty well-fueled majors, even for full compensation of the cost of studying at the university. And the owner of the institution, in which the next rowdy took place (Michael Gibson), expressed to the members of the secret community everything that thinks about them. For his honest and straightforward position, for reluctance to put up with lawlessness, the man suffered. Alistair Riley brutally beat him to death. If you have already seen the film "The Club of the Rebels" (Ben Schnetzer played the role of a wealthy young man with Greek roots), everything becomes very clear to you. Even inside the club itself there is a clear hierarchy. And if a person has money, but there is no status of a grandee, even over him you can be a little cheerful.

Briefly about reviews

Spectators note that throughout the whole picture they were not left with a feeling of lurking fear. How far can the insolent majors go in their quest to tell ordinary people about their place in society? How long will impunity continue to flourish, giving rise to even greater terror? Praise the author of the script. After all, in theory, this picture could end even more sadly. Some viewers wonder if Alister Riley would have been imprisoned if he had deprived an innocent person of his life in a fit of rage. Exception from the university is seen as too mild punishment.

If you did nothing, it does not mean that you are innocent

When you are inactive and silently indulge in evil, you do not just cover the crime and become an accomplice, you commit a more terrible sin. Soft-hearted Miles Richards throughout the narrative can not believe that he exists in this reality. In the end, he has the courage to call the police. However, this circumstance, as well as the fact that in the future the young man decided to permanently bind up with secret societies, weakly justifies it. It is worth noting that in this film all the actors tried their best. "Club of rebels" makes you think about many things and rethink a lot.
