Prohibited horror movies: nervous is not advisable!

Rampant cruelty and the melting of bloody scenes on the screen both in documentary and news chronicles and in feature films often lead to imitation attempts and badly affect the fragile psyche or impressionable people. That's why almost every country has lists including forbidden horror films, these pictures can not be at the box office or they were removed from the show after a while.

For example, you can take neighboring Belarus. In this state, apparently, they appreciated the danger arising from the spectacles offered by some directors. In the "black" list, among other horror films that were banned for screening, there are many of them. Included here is the seemingly innocent horror film "The Evil Dead" by Sam Raimi. This "black comedy" of the 80's was created by the future director of the franchise about "Spiderman" at the time of his youth. Surprisingly, then almost from nothing a classic was born. And although the blood and body parts look primitive and too shameless today (30 years ago the special effects left much to be desired), still the film, its two sequels and the modern (2013 year) remake look and revise. According to many knowledgeable people, there is no special reason to forbid it, which can not be said about the frank pictures, which also appear in the Belarusian list as forbidden horror films. This includes the "House of 1000 corpses" by Rob Zombie or "2001 maniac" with the participation of Robert Ingland (the same Freddy Krueger in "Nightmare on Elm Street"). Well, the "Hell of cannibals", shot by the Italian Ruggiero Deodato, a picture of an allegedly found pseudo-documentary film about the expedition to the tribe of cannibals in the Amazon, is banned in many countries of the world.

Cruelty - for the barrier!

The veto - also in a number of states - was imposed on a number of time-tested film productions classified as "forbidden horror films". Although there is nothing supernaturally cruel there. This, for example, the famous adaptation of the novel "The Exorcist", "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (filmed in 1974, it has many sequels "on motives"). Or "The Last House on the Left", filmed by the "inventor" of the same Kruger and the director of "Scream" by Wes Craven in 1972. In this horror a couple of young girlfriends looking for adventure, is in the clutches of a gang of sadists. This picture could not be shown in the UK from 1984 to 2002, banned it in New Zealand, Norway, Australia, Iceland, Singapore. Again in Singapore, New Zealand, as well as Spain, Malaysia and some other countries are not allowed to show a newer "Serbian film". In it, cruelty and furious naturalism really go off scale, and a mixture of sadism, pedophilia, and necrophilia can negatively affect even those who are not too faint-hearted.

Not for children's eyes

Not so long ago, the English newspaper The Independent published its version of the Twenties, which included forbidden horror films. There were some of the above listed works, as well as, for example, the thriller "I Spit on Your Graves" 2011. This is a free remake of the earlier "Woman's Day". A young novelist in search of inspiration is looking for solitude, but instead runs into very big trouble. Rape, bullying and attempt to kill the victim by local scoundrels are far from the scenes that can be seen in the family circle. Yes, and the methods of punishment that Jennifer did not want to die for her torturers, is also not for children's eyes. This list includes the movie "Mikey" in 1992, which tells about the child-sadist, and the semi-documentary work "Faces of Death", filmed in 1979. A truly nauseating work, quite worthy to be classified as "Forbidden horror films in the world."
