Rice porridge with pumpkin - a dish that is useful for children and adults

Pumpkin is a very useful product, but not everyone likes to use it fresh. But from milk porridge with the addition of pumpkin is unlikely to refuse. Let's try to cook a dish like rice porridge with pumpkin. So, to get four servings of porridge, we need three quarters of a glass of rice, it's important to take the usual round-grained rice. We add milk heated to boiling, a ready-made pumpkin puree, sprinkle approximately a teaspoon of salt (to collect without a slide) and about four tablespoons of sugar. However, sweeten and salt the porridge better to your taste. After our rice porridge with pumpkin boils, you need to reduce the heat to a minimum and mash the porridge until the desired consistency. If you like half-liquid porridge, then fifteen minutes will suffice, if you prefer thicker, then you will have to wait about half an hour. Ready porridge should be filled with butter.

If you prefer more sophisticated recipes, then you should recommend preparing a dish like rice porridge with pumpkin and fruit, baked in the oven.

To make this porridge, we need two hundred grams of rice, about half a kilo of pumpkin (peeled pulp), a couple of apples (you can use other fruits), a hundred grams of raisins (you can replace it with dried apricots), three glasses of fatty milk or cream, a third of a teaspoon of salt, 4 Tea spoons of sugar and one hundred grams of condensed milk and about fifty grams of butter. To cook such mush is best in a clay pot or serving pots.

Fruits and dried fruits should be washed and cleaned of seeds and peel. Cut them into cubes and mix. The same small pieces you need to cut and pumpkin.

Rinse and dry the rice from excess moisture. At the bottom of the clay mold should be laid slices of oil, then pour the pumpkin slices. Top with condensed milk. Condensed milk can and do not use, then pumpkin should be sprinkled with sugar (two tablespoons).

Then, on top of the pumpkin, distribute half the portion of the washed rice, then the prepared mixture of fruits and dried fruits, and on top - the remaining rice. Fill the future cereal with milk or cream, add sugar and salt. Cover the dishes with a lid and send it to the oven. Pumpkin porridge with rice and fruit is prepared at 180 degrees an hour and a quarter. After the time comes out, the heating should be turned off, and the container with the porridge should be left in a hot oven for another forty minutes. Such porridge is an excellent treat for children and adults.

And if you like to mix different cereals when preparing cereals, then you, for sure, will like porridge rice and millet with pumpkin. It is prepared in exactly the same way as porridge from one kind of cereal, only the pysanka should be washed well before the bookmark and must be burned with boiling water. Then the finished porridge will not be bitter. The ratio of rice and wheat can be changed arbitrarily, it is not necessary to use these cereals in equal amounts. To improve the taste of porridge, it is possible to add dried fruit or fresh fruit, for example, apples.
