Closed Joint-Stock Company "Atlant" began its history from the year of 1991, when a governmental decision was made to set up an enterprise for producing refrigerators on the basis of a plant producing gas equipment. Until that time, such household appliances were not produced in Belarus.

The first refrigerator "Minsk-1" was released in the year one thousand nine hundred and sixty-two. After that, for the first time in the USSR, a two-chamber model of household appliances was developed and the production of freezers was started. In the process, innovative heat insulation made of polyurethane foam was successfully used. The first delivery of goods to Greece in 193-73 opened the world market for the company. Subsequently, products were exported to Belgium and Australia, England and France, Italy and Holland, as well as many other European countries.

Currently, the Minsk Refrigerator Factory produces more than fifty different models of household appliances under the name "Atlant", intended for storage of products. These are two-chamber and single-chamber devices, having both the lower and upper positions of the chamber created for freezing. Different models are equipped with either one or two compressors, have a commercial or household purpose. The Atlant fridge, which customers testify about its ability to satisfy all the consumer's requests, can be easily selected to suit everyone's taste. To do this allows a variety of produced models.
