The very message of the book is fascinating, original, different from everything that Western civilization is creating now. Alice in Wonderland

Rebecca Dotremer started her work on "Alice in Wonderland" in 2010. From that moment a new stage of the artist's creativity began. Before the beginning of the work, according to the artist's recognition, she was not lucky to read Lewis Carroll, and the impression of the work was spoiled by the Disney cartoon about the adventures of a curious and mischievous little girl. Illustrator for a long time wondered what the main character of her fairy tale should look like, and only after a while, finding the right image, she began to create. But from that moment the work went like clockwork.

Black-haired sheared Alice struck the audience. Many decided that Rebecca portrays a self-portrait, giving the character her feelings and experiences. The artist worked not only on the immortal monuments of literature. Tandem with her husband - contemporary writer Tayem Mark Le Than - brought fruit. The family chose for their creative project the play "Cyrano de Bergerac". The husband adapted the text, and the spouse completed her main task - illustrated the book.

It should be noted that the text itself turned out to be sarcastic and cheerful, but Rebecca Dotremer's illustrations retained their philosophical overtones and even some gloominess.
