Faster to achieve this result, if in parallel with the "Liniment balsamic" (another name for Vishnevsky ointment) use antibiotics. After the abscess has been opened and cleaned, it is necessary to use drying agents, for example, tea tree oil.

Ichthyol ointment

Another ointment that draws pus from the pimple is Ichthyol. It quickly anesthetizes and disinfects the site of inflammation. This drug acts particularly effectively before the maturation of the abscess, but can be used at any stage of the pathological process.

Applications with ichthyol ointment are performed as follows: the drug should be applied to a small piece of bandage, attached to the inflamed area and fixed with a patch. Update the bandage 3 hours during the day, night - change immediately after awakening. Depending on the depth of inflammation, the stretching of the pus can take from 1 to 5 days. After this, the wound should be washed with hydrogen peroxide and continue treatment with drying agents.

Other drugs

It is impossible to say unambiguously which ointment draws pus better. "Ichthyol" and "Liniment Balsamic" are the most common means, but the following drugs may be quite effective:

• "Sulfur" - eliminates the infection on the skin in places where the hair grows (for example, in the field of the mustache).
• "Synthomycin liniment" - pulls pus, including from chronic inflammation foci, eliminates swelling and redness.
• "Ilon" - quickly removes inflammation, improves local blood flow, promotes early maturation and dissection of the abscess, can be used at any stage of purulent lesion.

The resulting wound must be treated with an antiseptic (hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, etc.) and continue treatment with cleansing and drying ointments: "Tetracycline", "Bactroban", "Baneocin", "Levomecol", "Levosin".

Folk remedy

With inflammatory processes on the skin it helps to draw pus ointment, prepared independently according to the folk prescription:

• Take 100 g of quality butter (preferably home) and melt over low heat;
• Add 25 g of grated wax, mix well until completely dissolved without boiling the mixture;
• Plan 10-40 grams of laundry soap and enter into the mixture (the coarser the skin, the more this component);
• Cool the ointment until it thickens.

During use, the product should be warm. It is necessary to put it on an inflamed place and cover with a bandage, which can be changed once a day or even less often, its effectiveness is not lost with time. After ripening of the abscess, the wound should be disinfected and dried.
