Peppers stuffed with meat and rice - a universal recipe

For a festive table it is necessary to cook peppers stuffed with mushrooms. For 4 servings, you should prepare such products: 4 Bulgarian peppers, 400 g of wheat bread, 200 g of any mushrooms (usually take champignons), onions, 0.5 cups of cream, vegetable oil, greens, garlic and spices.
Prepare the filling. For this, the diced bread is fried in vegetable oil. Boiled mushrooms are cut, then fry in a pan, gradually adding finely chopped onion, garlic. The semi-finished product is mixed with fried bread cubes, greens, cream and egg. Salt to taste and add ground pepper, nutmeg. The stuffing is carefully kneaded. Peeled peppers are filled with it and placed in a roasting dish. On top of them distribute pieces of butter. The capacity is filled with broth and covered with foil. The cooking time in the preheated oven is 0.5 hours. Ready dishes are decorated with greenery.
