If you are trying to save money on a tile, then you do not need to save money on it, because it costs you more. So, let's get to work. First, we remove the entire turf to the last root. This will help prevent cracking of the tile backing and punching the grass through it. After this, you must perform a natural slope for the drainage of water. Then carefully dredge the bottom of the trench, having previously indicated the places where the curbs of your pavement will pass. After this, you need to lay out the curb and fill the small gravel as a substrate. Why start with it? It's simple: it will prevent the whole structure from spreading and will indicate a clear boundary of the pavement itself. At the next stage, sand is poured, wetted and tamped, while the level is strictly observed. From above, you need to fill up the rubble, then the sand-cement mixture, which will tie the tile. The main thing is to observe the level, and then the foundation will be even, strong and durable.

The base is ready, we start laying the tiles. The very first row should be fixed with cement mortar, and the tile itself should be drowned strictly to a certain depth and level.
