The process of cooking begins with soaking dry peas. As a rule, this procedure takes at least three hours. When using a fresh product, it does not need to be soaked overnight, just rinse thoroughly before placing it in a saucepan.

Draining the water from the peas in the morning, place it in a saucepan and pour it over with water. The liquid level should be one and a half centimeters above the stuffed porridge. Bring to a boil, season with salt and continue cooking on low heat. Be sure to add butter or vegetable oil without smell. Pea porridge is cooked for an hour. So that she does not burn, stir regularly. Pea porridge in the multivariate is cooked in the "high pressure" mode for 15 minutes, before letting off steam, wait 5 minutes and add oil.

To do this you will need the following products: one and a half cup of peas, 4 onions, tomato, carrots and smoked products of your choice. It can be smoked chicken legs, pork ribs or smoked sausage. Separating the meat from the bone, set it aside. On the bones weld a broth, which will later be cooked porridge. Do not salt it, because smoked and so salty!

Consistency should not exceed two fingers above the level of porridge. While the pea porridge is cooked in smoked broth, fry the onion to golden crust, add the grated carrot and small tomatoes cut into small cubes. Chop the smoked products, add them to the vegetable mixture, adding a little water. When all the liquid evaporates, the seasoning to the porridge will be ready. For ten minutes before the ready to eat porridge, fill it with roast, mix thoroughly and try for salt. If necessary, season with salt.
