New Smartphones from Sony

As you know, things at Sony are not going very well now - the company has been suffering losses for a year now. Apparently, therefore, Sony has now directed its main efforts to win leading positions in the mobile devices market and, first of all, smartphones. According to information received from various sources, early next year the company plans to present several modern smartphone models. So far, only less than two models are known - Sony Yuga and Xperia Odin.
Smartphone Sony Yuga, judging by the photos that came with the network rather resembles an iPhone and also will have a monolithic glass case. Accordingly, it can be assumed that the smartphone battery will be non-removable, and there will be no support for memory cards. While almost all models had a plastic case, and their screen was protected by a special protective glass of its own design. Previously, the company's representatives claimed that this glass is superior in its characteristics to the development of Corning - the tempered glass of Gorilla Glass, and now apparently decided to release the smartphone completely with a glass case.
In addition, the main focus of the company is going to do on the quality of the display and camera. Smartphone Sony Yuga will be equipped with a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1794 by 1080 pixels, with support for Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and LTPS. It should be noted that this will be the first IPS smartphone from Sony - before that the company stubbornly perfected LCD displays, but apparently still achieved high quality and could not.
Since Sony's mobile phones have always been distinguished by excellent cameras, now the company has decided to equip, the new smartphone with a powerful 16-megapixel camera, is capable of shooting video in Full quality. And the case of the smartphone will be equipped with a hardware shutter for this camera.
The device will use a modern Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor running at 1.5 GHz and an Adreno 320 chip. The new 2Gb smartphone will have a RAM of 2GB and a built-in 32GB RAM. Work Sony Yuga will be on the operating system Android 4.2.
Another new model of the company will be Sony Xperia Odin. Apparently the main characteristics of this smartphone will be similar to Yuga. However, there will be some differences. Camera Xperia Odin will be slightly more "modest" than Sony Yuga and will be "only" 13-MP. The screen size of the phone also will be 5 inches, but here the proportions change slightly - the screen resolution will be 1920 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of 440ppi. In addition, according to untrusted so far, the display will probably be made using advanced LCD technology - apparently Sony absolutely does not hurry to abandon this technology. The difference will also be in the case, which is made of plastic and has a replaceable battery.
