Nature of Turkey: the most beautiful sights

Turkey is famous for its sights and unique places, which are recognized as the best on the planet. Favorable and the location of the country: most of it - on the Asian mainland and a small piece in Europe, and washed by the three seas. On the territory of the state there are mountain slopes, long coastal strips, both sandy and stony, pine forests, flowered and dotted with bright emerald grass fields. Those who have never visited Turkey and do not know what this marvelous coastal region will be interested in this article. It will deal specifically with the nature of Turkey, which is famous for its diversity and beauty. Today we will pay special attention to Kemer, we will tell about the most outstanding and memorable places in this region.

Climatic conditions

In Turkey, there is a subtropical Mediterranean climate, the characteristic feature of which is moderate humidity, although in the east of the state air becomes drier than in the center and in the west. This is truly a paradise for asthmatics and people prone to diseases of the respiratory system. Turkey is considered a mountainous country, because almost all of its territory is on high ground: in the west - the Anatolian plateau, in the east - the Armenian Highlands, in the north - the Pontic Mountains, and in the south - the Taurus. With such comfortable conditions, the nature of Turkey simply can not but please the eye.

Pamukkale

Speaking of the stunning human imagination of the natural sights of Turkey, of course, it is worth mentioning the "Cotton Castle". This is a literal translation from the Turkish language of the name of the bizarre salt mountains of Pamukkale. They have 17 geothermal springs. Falling from the snow-white slopes of the Cotton Castle, the water remains on the surface of the sites, surprisingly aligned with time and elements, which have the appearance of high steps. The white color of this natural staircase is attached to the skies by the deposition of calcium salts, which are found in huge quantities in the waters of the springs. Pamukkale is considered an interesting place of peace created by the very nature of Turkey, and tourists from all over the world come to see it.

Kemer

The resort town of Kemer not far from Antalya boasts an abundance of natural attractions that lie on its territory. Here, each person will enjoy the beautiful view of the canyon Geynyuk, see the ruins of the city of Phaselis, the fiery mountain Yanartash and Tahtali. To fully understand or even try to imagine the beauty of the nature of Kemer and Turkey, photos are simply necessary, visual associations can not be dispensed with, so the article presents the best of them. And now let's talk about each of the listed attractions and discover some secrets of these amazing places.

Canyon Goynuk

A canyon located not far from the homonymous Turkish village. It represents a gorge between 350-meter cliffs, towering above natural reservoirs. Many tourists prefer to go here on bicycles in mountain serpentine. Canyon Goynuk recognized as the most picturesque place on the coast of Kemer. This is not accidental, because the huge rocky surfaces and protruding boulders look truly fascinating: for the entire history of their presence here, the water and the wind have fairly smoothed the surface of the canyon, turning it in some places into an absolutely flat face, without any roughness or protrusions. Many people who visited Goynuk say that he perfectly characterizes and reflects the nature of Kemer. Turkey is proud of this landmark, offering its guests fascinating excursions to this amazing place.

Phaselis

The ruins of the ancient city of Phaselis have survived to this day and are carefully guarded by the Turkish government. Nature, perhaps, did not take a special part in the creation of this object, located in the territory of Kemer, but it should be considered in this context. All because in places of ruins nothing is erected, keeping a place in a primordial kind. This is a kind of piece of Roman greatness that survived even after many centuries. Columns, the theater and the central street of the city are all imbued with Roman and Byzantine history. Scientists say that once there lived merchants who were not equal in the world - enterprising and agile. Just think that many centuries ago a city was built in Kemer, something reminiscent of the present civilization. The only flat road of the central street, paved with polished huge cobblestones, gives this place truly royal grandeur.

Fiery mountain Yanartash

Yanartash is a miracle of the nature of Turkey, a photo of which once again confirm this truthful statement. From the foot of the mountain to its summit you can climb for an hour, and already at the top enjoy the fiery tongues of flame that are beating from under the earth. The fire is so bright that it can be seen even in the rays of the scorching and blinding Turkish sun. There is a legend about the Chimera, which on this mountain was defeated by Bellerophon, who flew to these parts on his faithful Pegasus. By the way, the city of Kemer is named in honor of the fiery beast, who is supposedly imprisoned in the mountain Yanartash and is still angry at everyone and everything, releasing flames from the depths of the confinement. It is known that scientists in every way deny the existence of myths, fairy tales and legends, so their version of what is happening on the fiery mountain of Jarantash sounds like this: a huge amount of natural gas deposits, bursting onto the surface and coming into contact with the air, ignite by themselves.

Tahtali

The Taurus mountain system, which was mentioned above, includes Takhtala mountain ranges. They rise more than 2300 meters above sea level. To the snow-capped peaks of the mountain of tourists lifts the funicular, which is a closed glass cabin. Those who visited the cable car in the mountains of Takhtaly, whose name translates as "Doschataya Gora", admit that they have experienced fear mixed with delight, rising to the highest point of observation of a stone boulder. Local people call the path from the foot of Takhtala to the top "the road from the sea to heaven."

It will be determined where nature is more beautiful in Turkey, it is simply impossible, because every corner of this beautiful country is either saturated with history or boasts an amazing creation of Mother Nature herself.
